Disagree - think the line goes the OTHER way and if you like Nova grab them now - it wont get any better than this

What, you think the Duke Darlings are going to get pissed on by the public, don't know, but I'd be surprised. Duke is Duke, their reruns are on TV more than Leave-it-to-Beaver.

Still, I like Nova to get them for sure. I still think Duke stinks. I've done the same thing with Oklahoma this year as well. Blake Griffin has been kicking my butt.
I pick Duke to lose every game. I never at any point this year thought they were good. They've beat me often this year as well.

Vegas has already built in the Duke luv with this line as it is. Ive noticed this with a couple of other games so far with the early lines. Especially the UCLA/Nova game. Thats why we get such a good line on Nova in both of these games. This could easily be a pk or Nova -1 but this line is anticipating late Duke action to even out the early Nova handle in my opinion. This way they wont need to move the line more than 1/2 a point either way. This is just my assumption I have no inside knowledge. It makes a lot of sense to me. New Hotel/Casino just went up down the street, guess these guys have a clue. Last thing they want to do is move any of these lines more than 1 point and sharp dudes are getting paid to make sure that dont happen.

I'm on Nova here as well but also with a bit of homer bias. Nova is playing well right now but I have to admit that so is Duke. I don't think they are as over rated right now as they have been most of the season, but agree there is still value in Nova. Duke is gonna have to shoot well throughout this game to knock them out. Game should be a pick em or nova -1 in my opinion.

Whatever your feelings are on the game dont get sucked into theories on what the Public thinks. Thats fine for the regular season but the books cannot afford to be complacent in the tourny.
Leaving aside the 1st round Bing whatever Team, The Books believe that Duke are a solid Number 2 seed by virtue of their spread in the Texas game. Conversely, The Books have seen Villanova not as 3 seed in both their Games and now are opposing them again.
Of course one could argue that the extra -0.5-1 pt on Duke is to cater for the public but I will tell you that in a game this highlighted, its because the Books lean is against Villanova. Once again, I'm not saying Villanova cannot beat this Spread but please have bone-fide reasons and not guesses or cliches on the number.

Villanova is the better team. I think they will win. Thats why I bet the money line. I could give a fiddlers fart what the public or anyone else thinks. It could be a close game and Nova may lose, but I feel they have the better chance of coming out on top. The books have to cater a little to public perception in these marquee type games or risk having to make big ...... aaaah fuck it ....
