From The Voices Of Immigrants

Greetings:

During the past several weeks, the Sean Hannity Show and the Michael Savage Show have had a number of callers from immigrants.

Most of these immigrants are from the Eastern Bloc countries.

For the benefit of the uninformed, the Eastern Bloc countries refer to the former Communist states of Eastern and Central Europe.

Most of these immigrants were brought to the United States by their parents while they their children.

These parents wanted to escape the oppressive and totalitatian regimes of these Communist states and seek the freedom which existed in the United States.

These Eastern Bloc immigrants have been unanimous with their expressions of horror and dismay over the changes that Barack Obama has been bringing to the United States.

They have been unanimous in their opinion that Barack Obama is, slowly but surely, engaged in the deliberate process of turning the United States into a Communist country.

They have been unanimous in their expression of the similarities they are now seeing in the changes that Barack Obama is making in America and the conditions which once prevailed in the Eastern Bloc Communist states from where they escaped.

That's right.

These cries of dismay are coming straight from the mouths of immigrants from the former Communist Eastern Bloc states who have lived in both worlds.

They used to live during the oppressive and totalitatian regimes of the Eastern Bloc countries.

They have enjoyed the freedoms of the United States.

Unfortunately, they do not like what they are seeing in the United States right now.

Unfortunately, they do not like where the United States is headed right now under the administration of Barack Obama.

You would do well to turn on these radio programs and listen to these folks.

Some of you probably think they are just "actors."

They are not.

They are who they say they are.

They speak from their hearts and their souls.

They have "been there."

They are the real deal.

America needs more of these Eastern Bloc immigrants to speak out and warn its citizens of what lies ahead if Barack Obama and his designs for a Communist regime in America are not stopped.

May God Save America.

Re: From The Voices Of Immigrants

Wow, so true. Great post.

I went to my Gym a few weeks ago and had Glenn's show on, and he was talking about Communism and Socialism. These two people, one from Nicaragua, and one from Cuba, cornered me and told me to listen. They explained to me exactly what this article describes. They were terrified at what they were hearing as said they dont put a sign up and say one day, now we are now a Communist Country. They explained how they fought to get away from that regime, and proud to live now legally in America.

Now when I go to the Gym, I am there to workout, not talk, but trust me, I couldn't shut these ladies up! I wish I could have recorded the passion in their voices, and theyboth said they have seen all this before

Everyone who has any doubt about what Hussein's agenda is, and need it spelled out, should take the time to speak to someone who has escaped and felt the suffocating nature of Socialism, Government run healthcare, and lack of freedom

They have heard all this rhetoric before

You will quickly wake up that its time for TEA

Re: From The Voices Of Immigrants

Munchkin,

I'm not seeing the correlation between Obama and eastern block totalitarianism? What freedoms are at jeopardy? Were you also concerned when Pres. Reagan spent an unprecedented amount of money? How 'bout when Pres. Ike had tax rates in 90% range? Tax rates are no where close to that, they haven't even gone up at all and some are actually getting more of their money back from the government than they did under Pres. Bush. As far as I know the midterm elections in 2010 haven't been canceled nor have the 2012 elections been eliminated. Where's the loss of freedom and the onset of totalitarianism?

Ohhhhh

so now Barack is a Communist?

I guess labeling him a Fascist is not good since that brings back reminders
of what Bush was and labeling him a Socialist is no good since that is what
Reagan was

Keep up the good work .... we will someday label him correctly fellas

George Bush has nationalized more private companies than Hugo Chavez! In fact, Bush just utilized 85 billion dollars worth of tax payer money to bail out AIG. And how ironic is it that the ONLY insurance that has not been nationalized is health insurance? Watch the clip for more:

Hey Tank, put down the Kool Aide down and wake up

Barack and Michelle's Socialist, Marxist, and Communist Quotes

"They don't want the whole pie," she told the women. "There are some who do, but most Americans feel blessed just being able to thrive a little bit. But that is becoming even more out of reach. If we don't wake up as a nation with a new kind of leadership, for how we want this country to work, then we won't get universal health care. The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more."
- Michelle Obama

<EMBED src=http://www.youtube.com/v/GMLeamM7Jkk&hl=en width=425 height=344 type=application/x-shockwave-flash></EMBED>

"So we're going to provide a $4,000 tuition credit, every student, every year, but, students, you're going to have to give back something in return. You're going to have to participate in community service. You're going to have to work in a homeless shelter, or a veteran's home, or an underserved school, or join the Peace Corps." - Barack Obama

So he wants to make "every student, every year" an employee of the state? And is this another step towards socializing higher education?

"And it?s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns, or religion, or antipathy to people who aren?t like them, or anti-immigrant sentiment, or anti-trade sentiments as a way to explain their frustrations" - Barack Obama

Karl Marx famously claimed that religion was an opiate of the masses. He was explaining his view that the wealthy bourgeoise cynically used religion as a device to keep the poor, simple proletariat happy in their misery and squalor so they would find it immoral to rise up and overthrow their capitalists oppressors.

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," - Barack Obama

Hmm, is this quote for Marxist or Fascist? I can't decide...

"It?s because you have an obligation to yourself. Because our individual salvation depends on collective salvation." - Barack Obama

"The great task before our founders was putting into practice the ideal that government could simultaneously serve liberty and advance the common good. and Government, he believed, had an important role to play in advancing our common prosperity." - Barack Obama

Collective? Common prosperity? "the ultimate goal of socialism is common prosperity" Source: Yang Chungui, The Marxist

"I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets." - Barack Obama (Dreams of My Father)

"Political discussions, the kind at Occidental had once seemed so intense and purposeful, came to take on the flavor of the socialist conferences I sometimes attended at Cooper Union" - Barack Obama (Dreams of My Father)

Nothing more to say here...

"Well, Charlie, what I?ve said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness." - Barack Obama

No, not because it would increase revenue, but for "fairness". Yes that's right...punish success...

Ice Cream Cone

</PRE>
In honor of the 44th President of the United States , Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has issued a new flavor, ?Barocky Road ". </PRE>
</PRE>
Barocky Road is a blend of half Vanilla and half Chocolate, and is surrounded by Nuts and Flakes. </PRE>
</PRE>
The Vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and is usually denied as an ingredient. The Nuts and Flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow. The cost is $100.00 per scoop. </PRE>
When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but then the Ice Cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you. </PRE>
</PRE>
Thus you are left with an empty Wallet, no change, holding an empty cone, with no hope of getting any Ice Cream. </PRE>

I am sure you feel better since you have been stimulated!</PRE>

Bruce these are common sense quotes that i use on my kids all the time. Turn the heat down, be responsible , be fair etc., etc.All these are taken out of content to fill the need of the writer to scream communism or socialism.
Your the one that needs to give up the ''be afraid'' motto because people are not buying anymore. The GOP has nothing but fear and smear and it's very sad when you think about it.

Show me some better alternatives than the no and fear crowd. We are already on board the Ron Paul express but their is only so much he can do for us.

Re: From The Voices Of Immigrants

His actions match his words

By STUART VARNEY

I must be naive. I really thought the administration would welcome the return of bank bailout money. Some $340 million in TARP cash flowed back this week from four small banks in Louisiana, New York, Indiana and California. This isn't much when we routinely talk in trillions, but clearly that money has not been wasted or otherwise sunk down Wall Street's black hole. So why no cheering as the cash comes back?
My answer: The government wants to control the banks, just as it now controls GM and Chrysler, and will surely control the health industry in the not-too-distant future. Keeping them TARP-stuffed is the key to control. And for this intensely political president, mere influence is not enough. The White House wants to tell 'em what to do. Control. Direct. Command.
It is not for nothing that rage has been turned on those wicked financiers. The banks are at the core of the administration's thrust: By managing the money, government can steer the whole economy even more firmly down the left fork in the road.
If the banks are forced to keep TARP cash -- which was often forced on them in the first place -- the Obama team can work its will on the financial system to unprecedented degree. That's what's happening right now.
Here's a true story first reported by my Fox News colleague Andrew Napolitano (with the names and some details obscured to prevent retaliation). Under the Bush team a prominent and profitable bank, under threat of a damaging public audit, was forced to accept less than $1 billion of TARP money. The government insisted on buying a new class of preferred stock which gave it a tiny, minority position. The money flowed to the bank. Arguably, back then, the Bush administration was acting for purely economic reasons. It wanted to recapitalize the banks to halt a financial panic.
Fast forward to today, and that same bank is begging to give the money back. The chairman offers to write a check, now, with interest. He's been sitting on the cash for months and has felt the dead hand of government threatening to run his business and dictate pay scales. He sees the writing on the wall and he wants out. But the Obama team says no, since unlike the smaller banks that gave their TARP money back, this bank is far more prominent. The bank has also been threatened with "adverse" consequences if its chairman persists. That's politics talking, not economics.
Think about it: If Rick Wagoner can be fired and compact cars can be mandated, why can't a bank with a vault full of TARP money be told where to lend? And since politics drives this administration, why can't special loans and terms be offered to favored constituents, favored industries, or even favored regions? Our prosperity has never been based on the political allocation of credit -- until now.
Which brings me to the Pay for Performance Act, just passed by the House. This is an outstanding example of class warfare. I'm an Englishman. We invented class warfare, and I know it when I see it. This legislation allows the administration to dictate pay for anyone working in any company that takes a dime of TARP money. This is a whip with which to thrash the unpopular bankers, a tool to advance the Obama administration's goal of controlling the financial system.
After 35 years in America, I never thought I would see this. I still can't quite believe we will sit by as this crisis is used to hand control of our economy over to government. But here we are, on the brink. Clearly, I have been naive.

Under Bush it was purely economical reasons but now under obama it's socialism. Then maybe Paulson should not have forced them to take it in the first place. Honestly is anyone dumb enough to believe this tripe?

Yes. The 20% who are waiting for the rapture and who have conflated the planks of the Republican Party with their own Christianist belief system will buy any thought issued by commissar Rush, Hannity, et al. These are the non-thinkers who still supported the buffoon at the end of his term. Add in your random redneck Klansman-in-thought (probably more of these than we imagine) and you derive a solid one-quarter of the population who is purchasing this crap. Unfortunately, 25% of the voters gets you nada, which means we are in for a heavy dose of one-party rule until the Repugs can get their shit together and join the adults trying to repair the country.

Re: From The Voices Of Immigrants

Alinsky came up with the idea of power analysis, which looks at relationships built on self-interest between corporations, banks and utilities.
In the 1930s, Alinsky organized the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago (made infamous by Upton Sinclair's novel The Jungle for the horrific working conditions in the Union Stock Yards). He went on to found the Industrial Areas Foundation while organizing the Woodlawn neighborhood, which trained organizers and assisted in the founding of community organizations around the country. In Rules for Radicals (his final work, published in 1971 one year before his death), he addressed the 1960s generation of radicals, outlining his views on organizing for mass power. In the first chapter, opening paragraph of the book Alinsky writes, "What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away".
