DALLAS, May 17 (UPI) -- A National Weather Service meteorologist says residents in northern Texas reported being startled by a 3.3-magnitude earthquake.
NWS meteorologist Jesse Moore said, citing area resident reports, Saturday's minor earthquake shook some buildings and resulted in multiple aftershocks, The Dallas Morning News reported Sunday.
Moore, whose office fielded calls from concerned citizens following the quake, said it was centered about 18 miles west of Dallas.
