i really wish EOG required posters here to be drug free when posting such stupid stuff like this. denver has ZERO PRAYER of beating the lakers and the sooner people stop sniffing glue and then posting here - the better

i keep hearing ppl say that "the matchups are bad for denver", well i disagree, yes kobe is a very tough cover, but d jones out of duke, the athletic swingman, will get that assignment, chauncey and jr smith will fine on defense, and the trio of nene, birdman, and k-mart will handle pao, bynum will be a non factor just like he has been for most of the 'offs, and how bout carmelo, who the hell on the lakers can handle carmelo?
you guys sound like the guys who were touting the flakers over the celtics last yr and i took the celtics at +180 and laughed all the way to the fricken bank

when bynum is on, yes, the lakers supporting cast is decisively better, but since he missed last yrs playoffs and he has been mia this yrs playoffs, he cannot be counted on. mo williams, ilguaskas, varejao, west, gibson and wally, are much better than you give them credit for being. most importantly, they all understand their roles and have great team chemistry which is the tell tale sign of a championship team

I had the Celtics in the series and every game of the finals including the ML in G4
i am a Lakers' fan but i also know how to separate my head from my heart. i am NOT like Hawks Fan when it comes to his beloved NHL team

if it goes 7 and i have to hedge out, i'm fine with that, i'm sitting on +280 and +325 so basically +302.50 and will be more than happy to hedge out, but of course, if denver wins either gm 1 or 2, i believe this series is theirs, and i really believe they can do it, and will do it, tonight or thurs they take a gm in la, then they get the hm crt back and wrap this up in 6

Why do you guys think the Lakers can't win in Denver? Lakers have won 10 out of the last 11 games against Denver. Where is this Denver dominance over the lakers supposed to come from? They have not been able to stop Kobe in the past.

the past is the past, we are in the present, this laker team is ripe to be taken as houston showed us, denver's offense is so good right now that it overshadows the commitment they have made on defense, kobe will get his, but no one else on the lakers will go off consistently, not pao, not lamar, not bynum, or any of the other scrubs who ppl overrate (luke, ariza, farmar, brown, d-fish, sasha)
kobe will get his, carmelo will get his, and then the denver supporting cast which is committed to defense will outplay, outhustle, outrebound, and plain out-tough the flakers, just watch
