Hallday Strained Groin Muscle

[Hey Bartender]

I live here in Philly and just heard Charlie Manuel post game interview, he said Roy strained his groin in the 5th inning.

The reason he didn't run to first on the bunt was because he wasn't sure of the umpires call. If the ball is fair the umpire says nothing. He simply wasn't sure what the umpire was going to call so he didn't attempt to run to first.

Halladay said he would be ready to come out of the pen in game 7 on Sunday.

Injury isn't too bad.

Meant that to Bernard not to you Tuck. I was saying Dude needs to ease up with saying he lost respect for not running. I read that thread as well. I was shocked that anyone would say something so silly.

I thought I heard the Halladay injury took place in the second inning. Either way, I love Halladay's guts. I always have and I always will. The no-no in his postseason debut was beautiful.

if respect is the wrong word, what do say about a 20,000,000
athlete who fails to run out a hit ball? i don't know him as a person
so i can't call him names. what i can say, is for me, not for you
gentlemen, speaking for myself, he will never be the same in my eyes.
perhaps that equates to losing respect.
