Since I worked at CRIS/Bookmaker for a number of years, we always had a big parlay like that hit every month or so...Bookmaker paid right away and considered it free advertising...most of the parlays were in the 50,000-150,000 range and most of the time the players became bigger gamblers and lost a lot of it back....Bookmaker didn't sweat it....

once you get beyond 4 0r 5 legs, do the offshore books pay parlays off at a lesser rate of return than the vegas books?

Most books let you bet the big parlays but with limited dogs...(especially in baseball in offshore)

hmmm you dont think 5 dimes pays that? a question not a statement by any means.

maybe.

but its just the way i feel that i would only want to make that wager at 2 books.

i don't play these anyways so its like me never winning the lottery.

i just know that at bookmaker and greeek i don't have to worry about a thing.

Re: Bookmaker pays out $129K to parlay winner

i would trust BODOG w/ that amount a well..go ahead and laugh out loud..but about a year ago I cashed out 46,000 and in 3 weeks it was done...it's a lot less than the parlay and damnnnnnn what a great hit for that player and no worries from bookmaker....Bigdaddy I'm just saying...

Lucky customer N.H. -whose identity and location are protected for confidentiality reasons-, just received a US$ 129,000 payout for his 12-team parlay winnings at BookMaker.com.

With over 20 years in the business, the leading online sportsbook shows very few records of customers risking so little money in a very complex play, to get as much as 2,000 times the investment in return. “We are pleased to pay N.H. all of his winnings and acknowledge his talent in making such a combination that we’re sure he’ll find useful this time of the year,” said Mickey Richardson, CEO of BookMaker.com.

N.H. bet on NBA, NHL, CBB and NFL games and totals, never thinking he’d win. “Now I will be able to close this year free of debt and putting my kids through college,” he explained. “My secret was a combination of an extensive amount of research online plus the fact that I know my teams very well.”

“All of the BookMaker.com staff, from the clerk who took N.H.’s bet to me, congratulates him for his accomplishment. Only an outlet with our stability and leadership in the business would be happy for an unlikely event like this to happen,” Richardson added.
