Does Dennis Rodman belong in the Hall of Fame?

The NBA released their list of nominees for the class of 2011.

The more distinguished players on the list are--

Reggie Miller (Easily gets in)
Bernard King
Chris Mullin
Don Nelson
Mark Jackson
Dennis Rodman

Rodman was a rebounding-machine and a great defender. He led the league in rebounds for 7 seasons, and also NBA All-Defensive first team for seven seasons.

He didn't do much offensively. This caught my eye, "Rodman’s career average of 7.3 PPG would rank him second to last out of the 90 people inducted into the Hall of Fame as players."

He won two championships with the Pistons and three with the Bulls and is MORE desserving than Ray Guy will ever be... Ray Guy was as good as anyone EVER punting the Football, but how many rings did he help the Raiders win?

If thats the case Pistol Pete Maravich would have NEVER got in... I knew this particular basketball player well, and he couldn't play a lick of DEFENSE... greatest College basketball player ever by FAR...

Bernard King is not in?

Ain't no hall of fame if Bernard King is not in there.

And Rodman should be a sure thing for the Hall of fame. He was a huge factor in those 5 NBA championships.

Bernard "fucking" King is not in the hall of fame?

That is unreal.

If you could have a pick-up game of all time greats and each team could take 15 players.

My 15 would include Bernard "fucking" King. He was a beast. A scoring machine on bad teams. Was as dominating a player as almost anyone that ever played.

That amazes me that Bernard King is not in the Hall of Fame.

Dude got ripped for playing for bad teams, but he was great.

For sure in. He is 6 6 and won the rebounding title 7 times in a row! He used to d up Shaq for fvcks sake.

Yeah- he was a beast defender. I remember he frustrated the hell out of Karl Malone in the Finals.
