Last year this system was not very good but the 4 years before that is was. Are any of you guys familar with the Sagarin system for picking bowl games? It is based on sagrain rankings and strength of schedule (SOS) and it goes something like this:
1. Use teams listed only in the top 60 Sagrin Ratings. Let's call it Team Durrrr.
2. If Team Durrrr has a SOS of 60+ or worse then fade Team Durrrr...unless
3. Team Durrrr's opponent has a worse SOS, then you play on Team Durrrr instead of fading it.
Example:
Step 1. #56 Durrrr in top 60 of Sagrin Ratings.
Step 2. Durrrr SOS #73 so it qualifies for a fade as SOS > 60
Step 3. However, Durrrr's opponent has a worse SOS than Durrrr so now instead of fading Durrrr you will PLAY on Durrrr.
