76ers look pretty good..

They've won 6 out of 7 while the Pacers have lost 5 out of 6. Pacers 6-23 vs teams with a winning record..

Pacers been giving up 110+ or more in 4 out of their last 5.. I like this 76ers team they are pretty good and bring it every night.. I'd love +2

76ers: 12-1 vs bad defensive teams
76ers: 20-11 vs teams with losing records

Pacers: 7-23 vs good offensive teams.

Rut Ro, I was looking the other way on this one. Wish I had seen this before picking off a -4 that was out there. Here's to hoping the game lands on 4 or 5. Not good at all when you see yourself on the other side of a TryTryTry play. It usually means CryCryCry. :(

You too Gyno. Providence is dreadful on the road and will just be playing the season out after finishing the regular season on a winning note. Marshon Brooks got the single season Big East scoring record on Saturday ... he'll be in cruise control tomorrow night and PC is a one-man team.

Agree and Quette needs this game for a decent chance at the tourney. Right now I'd say they are NOT in, but a decent showing in the tourney might get them in..

Good idea for a thread Gyno, nice to read all the opinions consolidated daily here in this one thread. As you know I do the same thing over at Peep's, glad you are also doing it here so I hear from some other posters that don't post over there. Keep it going, although not as good a capper as some of you all I will try and come by and contribute when I can. Good work.

The problem you have with these type of threads here is that the attention whores want their own threads. You'll notice a lot of people avoid these threads and its always the immature attention whore types. Threads like this is what got me hooked on the forums in the first place, I was like damn, there are people out there betting games daily like me?? Talking about these games, talking about the industry etc..

I want this thread to be a place where if people have a question about a game they can check in here to see if anyone else is talking about it, or already posted a play on it. If it isn't I'd like them to ask the question..

Depaul + 15

DePaul played so poorly against Syracuse after a good effort on Senior night against Rutgers that I expect a bounce. By contrast, UCONN used a lot of energy on their Saturday national TV senior day loss to ND that they may have them little dejected. Also, UCONN beat Depaul by 20 in January shooting 51 % in a solid effort. I can see them looking past DePaul in this one. Lastly, everybody that I speak with loves UCONN. DePaul + 15 for me.

Rutgers + 4

Again, everybody that I speak with likes Seton Hall after the their wins over St. John's and Marquette in impressive style. The foregoing makes me look towards Rutgers. I think that Rutgers can win this one and I made this number two (2), so for me there is some value with Scarlet Knights. The pair split their regular season games with both winning on the others's home court with the hall winning the most recent meeting.

UConn plays 3-4 freshmen in their short rotation (Lamb, Smith, Napier, Gifey), Okwandu is relatively inexperienced at C and never establishes himself in the low post. Oriakhi is limited on offense and disappears on a regular basis. UConn was getting a great contribution from Coombs-McDaniel in February but he has since gone back into hiding. I see this one as an ugly game, but not ugly as in a blowout, more ugly in favor of the dog. I'm hoping DePaul shows some pride after the thumping they took upstate over the weekend.

Really want to take DePaul +15. UConn knows that they'll need to play & win 5 games in 5 days to win the BE Tournament. Expect Calhoun to go to his bench often and maybe even start working the clock a little sooner. Take Walker out of the lineup for 10 minutes and this team will struggle to get shots, let alone make any. If Cleveland Melvin (All-Big East Rookie) was playing for DePaul I'd feel really good about the 15.

In their only regular season matchup UConn was up 80-50 with 5:30 to go, final score was 82-62. I see a similar foot-off-the-gas by Calhoun today, but I'm not sure Calhoun leaves his horses in the game long enough to get up to 80 points today. 74-60 could be a realistic final in this one which puts me on the dog and the under.

Still undecided ... any other opinions?
