Almost all these posters will be old school, do any new current posters ever have the potential to crack the top 20 all timers in the future?
My only guess would be that Shrink was paying him for his time back then. It had to take hours, I remember 6 and 7 game cards he'd post with several well thought out paragraphs on each game. It was impressive, to say the least.Yea...why do you think he doesnt do them anymore? He posts plays now...so why not writes? No time?
Which tout was that? He's still posting his plays now.

I've never read a Winky post in my entire life and thought it was a quality/insightful post but he's stop 20. :yay
Winky isn't one of the top 50 posters on this site currently and the site only has about 30 posters. At least you made it possible to ruin an entire list within the first 3 guys.
Winky:
1. Isn't sharp.
2. Beats women
3. Sounds like a rapist
4. Confirmed #3 is probably true when he threatened to rape someones mom/sister
5. Spends more time on there/their posts than any other posts.
6. Isn't sharp.
7. Get's offended if you call him out for things he admitted to doing... beating women, and threatening to rape someone.
TOP 20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Boy, Madcapper is milking this thread. Should have his "Top 20" complete sometime after the 2012 Presidential elections.
The research must be slowing him down.
That Jeff Haney deserves a Pulitzer.
Seriously, Haney was the best. You knew he was good, because he would explain gambling stuff in his column that we wished he wouldn't explain. And he never had a problem calling out a bad deal and naming the casino. Maybe that's what happened. I don't know. He wrote the best public newspaper gambling column on a consistent basis I've read.
Losing him was just another brick in the wall for the demise of Las Vegas public gambling media since I moved here six years ago. Radio programming has contracted to the point where I only listen to the Cantor boys at night (if I can stay awake that long). And I keep up with Dave Tuley's stuff on his site. But the Las Vegas airwaves and the print media really need a kickstart. Hopefully, JK can provide that.
I'll give it a try beginning August 1.
Haney is one of my favorites. A true consumer advocate. He's a respectful skeptic who knows the gambling market and he's not afraid to tackle the biggest names in the business. I loved when he published the future-book hold percentages for the various sports book operations in Nevada. It was embarrassing for the sports book operators, but enlightening for many beginning gamblers. Haney recently wrote an extensive story published in Las Vegas Weekly on the best blackjack games available today.
