Don't love that one with Weaver and Doc pitching.

Together they have just 48 walks in 283 IP this year

AL doesn't need their A-Team to beat the NL. NL starters are bad vs AL - best pitcher (Lincecum) has horrible #'s vs every AL team not named the Oakland A's. Good thing for AL is that the A's don't have many All-Stars. Halladay is great.

I love the MLB All-Star game. I know most don't, but it's by far my favorite All-Star game and it's a great watch.

Uh, why is Adrian Gonzalez the "obvious" MVP in the AL and why do Buck and McCarver keep saying it? Bautista could hit 55+ HR's, with a 340 Avg. Uh, that's the "obvious" 1st half MVP...

Somehow, for some unknown reason, Scott Rolen is the "best baserunner in baseball" according to Tim McCarver. It doesn't make any sense, but it's funny to hear clueless people talk.

Josh Beckett hurt in All-Star game warm up. Brittle Beckett.

Exactly my point. So overrated it's ridiculous. Everybody worships this guy and he's nowhere near as good as they think.

He's really good. Top 10 pitcher in the League. Announcers just exaggerate everything. You say Cliff Lee stinks, you're exaggerating the opposite spectrum of the argument, so you're equally as dumb with your argument.

He's a good pitcher. I'm on record saying that. But he's massively overrated. And when he fucks up, I highlight it with exaggerration because it's very funny to me. I truly enjoy watching him lose.

What makes Scott Rolen a "great" base runner? He can't steal bases, and he's slow so he doesn't go 1st to 3rd well. Does he read a ball off the bat with some superhuman ability? Carlos Beltran, his own All-Star teammate, has the best SB % in MLB history and never gets picked off. He's also fast and has a great ability of going 1st to 3rd. That's a good base-runner.
