What the hell is going on around here?

I thought Pinnacle numbers would be tough to beat.

Wanna be the square of all squares and play UConn tomorrow, but might stick with the NBA because that's scary square.

Timely's a pretty sharp guy.

If he isn't winning money it's because of money management.

I know a lot of people that could make money sports betting. The only problem they ALL have is money management.

100% is biggest mistake gamblers make is with money management and nothing else.

Good luck Timely

Yeah, I don't make $ betting sports because I'm an idiot degen. Don't have the same discipline as cards.

Between Oakland +3 and the bucks -1.

Some unsolicited advice: In this format, where a push = loss, taking an NFL side +/- 3 is something you really want to avoid.

Not to mention he was on a roll with nba and getting the crowd into it, then he posts a dud thats not played until this weekend.:finger004

Yeah, would have lost all three of the other plays - just didn't love anything yesterday.

Liked St. Louis a lot but I'm 2 points late to the party. Will probably play an NBA game or Marquette +3 1/2 as of now.

PVC my move was probably stupid, but I do think the Falcons win that game outright rather easily.

I like Atl +3 a lot too, but you're getting +2.5. Not worth it. Nice run though TH, hope you keep it up.

it's not exactly like he's getting 2.5. I get what you guys are saying, but this early on the contest it isn't a HUGE deal if he pushes.

First push is basically a loss, but if he does push the next push is a win. 17-11-2 would still win.

My understanding is that he needs to win 60% of the 30 plays so 17-11-2 would not win

Re: EOG's Grand Challenge [Timely Hero is January's contestant]

doesnt say win 18 games

says 60% with no amount

So he goes 1-0 with 29 pushes he wins

i think you guys are wrong. it's simply 60% so 17-11-2 wins, or like ttp said 1-0-29.

I was almost certain JK had stated this in a previous person's thread in which this came up.

wouldn't make any sense at all for 17-11-2 not to win

Must hit 60% or better to be declared a winner. Must post 30 plays.

60% of 30 = 18

Re: EOG's Grand Challenge [Timely Hero is January's contestant]

I was told the first push would be equivalent to a loss, but the next would benefit you. So i take that as a 17-11-2 being a winner

You would be correct .... I guess as I don't follow the rules as it is :lolxmas

17-12-1 is 58%

17-11-2 is 61%
