One thing about them, they are well disciplined. Alabama was 118th out of 120 teams in penalties called on them. Only San Jose State and Army were penalized fewer times

On the other side, Les Miles eats grass.

We had countless elimination games during the regular season to arrive at tonight's game.

I like the current system.

The plus-one concept is the best idea I've heard.

BCS #1 v BCS #4 and BCS #2 v BCS #3.

Winners meet for the championship.

This season's results would have featured LSU v Stanford and Alabama v Oklahoma State.

I just remember the first game and how it was the worst game that week.

2 great defenses and 2 average offenses makes for a very boring game.

Doubt either one of them would survive a 16 game playoff field where they would meet an offensive team that would give them trouble.

LSU does have some pretty impressive wins though.....

What Alabama win was impressive?

huh?

Cal has almost 40 million people and Texas has 25 million thats over 20% of the US pop right there in two states. MAYBE 2/3s east of the Mississippi but not in eastern time zone.

Also as far as 'elimination games' thats nice BCS speak right there. Not nearly enough common opponents to get a fair assessment. Even Alabama and LSU who are both in the same conference didnt have that many common opponents.
