it was a bad call. Not only did the giants guy who picked up the ball know, the 49er guy chasing him also knew it. So they are unlucky and still need to score a TD here

one of the most dangerous things to do is what u are doing. You are upset about the Packers and are chasing money and getting to personal w your hatred of the Giants.

Huh? Chasing from the packers? I made much more on the Niners last week than I lost on the Packers.

Also, I hope you guys just saw that BRUTAL no fumble call. No way was that forward progress before the fumble....just terrible.

Gotta find a way to make your own luck.

You know its raining, you gotta protect the ball more, its not rocket science.

Wow....fitting ending.

Eli played fantastic. Overall the Niners are a better football team without any question though. I'd bet Niners for my limit every time given the same odds.

What a dipshit punt returner. All I can say about him.

Well, they're a good team no doubt. Gotta give the G Men credit thought, they went into a really hostile environment and found a way to win.

I guess the Giants were lucky that Alex Smith could not convert even 1 first down the whole game on third down...

Bob Gibson was considered the luckiest pitcher in the history of baseball. For his entire career almost every team he faced was in a slump.

49ers were the incredibly lucky team this year with their turnover fortune

49ers had incredible turnover luck vs New Orleans including two early SF fumbles that hit the ground and SF got them both back. NO ends up -4

too bad, NE would have rolled 49ers non-functioning offense in a dome

now the game isn't easy to pick

Yeah, SF had a real hard time moving the football vs New Orleans last week...

Or vs the Giants when they didn't play in the rain...

Or how about when the rolled the Steelers...

Ehhh, Luck happens in football. Giants are no more lucky than any other team. Sure weren't luck last week when a couple calls went against them.

Giants were really lucky to lose a TON of DBs via the injury bug.

Aikman said that SF was the 'healthiest' team this year. I guess maybe SF is 'luckier'. Depends on how you want to look at things.

Giants deserved this game, they got a few nice breaks but they didnt turn the ball over and Eli played as well as possible under those weather conditions

Mooch said: "Manning threw the ball 58 times and was sacked 6 times, that's 64 pass plays and ZERO turnovers" ... and Manning was hit all night long. Plus it was against a Niners defense that was something like +28 in the turnover department this year. Nice job by Manning.

Well, he had 2 clear INT's throwing into double coverage, yet both times the SF defenders ran into eachother.

Just one of the many many lucky breaks the giants got.
