I mean the kid is an amazing pitcher but that seems a bit high for a guy coming off a bit of a down year.

Giants also signed Pablo Sandoval for 3 years for 17m which I think is a steal for him.

Linc and his agent even asked for 8-years at one point. Crazy.

Giants need to improve the rest of the team, too.

No shit they do.

Melky and Angel Pagan aren't exactly the type of signings I was hoping for this off-season.

Pitching staff even with the loss of Sanchez will be top of the line but we need more bats badly.

That's not saying much. LOL

So, Linc is getting $18 million this year, and $22 million next year. And he can earn a lot more from bonuses, like, half a mil if he wins the Cy Young.

Yup, I'm actually surprised he agreed to the 2 year deal....

His agent wanted 8, they had a 5 year deal on the table at one point as well.

Glad he is locked up at a 'reasonable' price.

tough to give timmy 8 years with his violent motion. coming off a rough year (for him) and if he follows it up with another you know teams will be skeptical that its a decline and not simply an off year or two. people are already scared of him breaking down young

If the giants felt 126 million was ok for zito then they should be willing to give timmy 300 million imo.

I think Lince shoulda took the 5/100 deal

he's now banking on getting a big time $$$ deal after the 2 years are up

that 3/60 he left on the table would be lost if he throws his arm out
