Honestly Pete, I've found the most reliable method is following the dots for the next play. nyr....etc. But when they fall at the end of the line, I can get tripped up, and that's what happened today. No way dink can know how his posts will look on the page. My bad in this case.

thanks, Munson. up 4.36 units is much better than I have been able to do. I abandon many of his plays if I can't get a number close to the opening line. How many plays have you followed? With the use of bonuses being ahead 4.36 units is huge. I wish I could say the same.

Funny you mention bonuses, I just picked up a rather generous one today at Sportbook.com. As to Dink, I play them all, I'm not good enough to distinguish between price points, and just try and get them as early as possible. Lines move his way the vast majority of the time, so there's no sense in waiting.

Ottawa blows a two-goal lead with the game winner being a fluke, and the Rangers give up the W with 0:47 left. Quite a swing there. Bernie, I am also curious how Dink plays a best bet. I like flat betting, so the most I'll do is shade it a bit heavier.

Do you wannu put more than that though? Then you get yourself in a situation where he goes 4-1, and the best bet looses and you end up breaking even. I would say 2 times your bet on his best bets would be good. A little more if you also like the play.

If the best bet hits at a winning percentage then you want to put as much as you can tolerate on it. Day to day you might hate the decision, but long term it's most profitable.

i am no god and modern day nhl is much more random then pre overtime days... i bet 1-5 units but there are only a few 5 unit plays a year and they are bet as soon as the overnights are posted at the big three sportsbooks...i hate to give out ratings since they are based on opening lines.. i usually bet openers midday, post plays late night and most of you see them the following mornings, so ratings would be misleading...i would say bet totals for one unit, sides for two and anything i rate best or medium for three unless there has been significant line movement.. most of last second additions or subtractions are done through matchbook so i rarely post them...most of my success comes from beating the closing line and that is a big drawback to followers....
