Put all players on waivers, then make the waiver period 12-24 hours (not sure what the minimum is on CBS). So once someone is claimed, the waiver process starts and he'll be on a roster within 24 hours.

The waiver wire resetting after every week is wrong too. Should make it running waivers, where whoever got the last waiver moves to 12th. Season order starts via draft slot.

You have to make it so every free-agent is on the waiver so you have to check the first option, then put them on the waiver for 1 day.

Or, you can make waivers run ONLY on Monday so it'll lock all players for 24 hours on Monday (when we'd normally pick players up for the following week) and then unlock the rest of the week. I know guys hate waiting to pick up everyone during the week.

Don't think I can even do these changes you guys are suggesting.

Only options for waivers order resetting are every period based on reverse order of standings, or never.

That's pretty brutal. Should be able to make the waiver wire in accordance to free-agent pick ups. I hate the reverse order of standings rule - Obama care.

That changes it a little bit for me. I'd rather just leave it the way it is if it won't order up like that. Makes it pointless otherwise because the bottom of the standings will always be at an advantage on the wire.

Relax dude. I'm just looking at the options. Had to change stuff anyway... it was set to daily lineups and any player could be put in DL spot. :shoot:

Go get your keepers ready. They're due tonight.

leave it the way it is, but add some stipulations like "the guys who are claimed 1 hour after lineups lock HAVE to be kept on roster for at least 3 weeks" That would solve every problem and not make it impossible to change

You kidding me, thats the easiest thing to keep track of, if anyone sees someone claimed early we will know who must be kept for 3 weeks, rip them in this thread and if they are dropped its an easy reverse transaction for commish to put them back onto roster. I actually really like this idea and it will completely cut down on the crappy Bruce Chen 1 minute after lineups lock pickups

Why should we cut back on it? That's part of the game is picking up 2 steps for 1 week. There just has to be a more fair way to do it than first come, first serve.
