What's with this Sebastian at the Golden Nugget?

I was all psyched for the EOG party so I followed the directions to email Sebastian at the Golden Nugget and Shrink.

I did this weeks ago with all my contact info and no response. Shrink finally told me to email Sebastian again, which I did several days ago and still no response.

Shrink hosted great poster parties at the Golden Nugget when he ran Rx. Never had a problem, but then other Golden Nugget employees handled things.

Now I'm having my doubts. Is anyone else planning on attending the EOG bash having a similar problem?

I received my confirmation 2 days ago..I believe Shrink said that Sebastian would be working on this through Monday...I would wait untill then, and if nothing then send another or call the 800 #

The people at the Golden Nugget have been very good with us on a SHORT notice and they are putting it all together. They have my info as well, but asked me to await confirmation as there are so many things to do. They are trying to do it right and to the best of their ability. Most of the people involved from years pasts parties are no longer with the Golden Nugget.

If you read my prior post (which u may have missed), Sebastian will need until MONDAY to complete this first round of confirmations...

I assure you there will be no problem if that means I have to take care of your reservation myself...

I have got several e-mails from people wanting a confirmation #. There are many things to take care of besides the rooms. I have the room black set aside and I assure everyone the rooms are taken care of. The trip isn't unitl January and the rooms are the easiest thing to do. With the poker tournament and the party things need to get approved and set up. With the poker tourney there are things that most don't think about. We have to get a special gaming license and meet with survielace among other things. I ASSURE EVERYONE THE ROOMS ARE BEING TAKEN CARE OF. I am only one person and a long with my other work duties I am working on the bash. I guarntee all invloved will have a good time and everything will be taken care of.

I should have all the rooms done by Sunday night.

Thanks for all that you are doing. I hope everyone here realizes that its not just a matter of sitting at a computer and typing in reservation names and the spitting out a conf. number. All reservations have to go through the Casino Marketing department and NOT central reservations.

I enjoyed talking with you Sebastian and will get back with you soon.

I emailed Sebastian last week and he told me he has a lot of things on his plate right now. He was extremely polite in his email. He'll get it done, let's all be patient...:cheers

Shortly after starting this topic I received a polite email from Sebastian informing me that everything will be taken care of.

I appreciate Sebastian responding. He said he has been extremely busy. I can appreciate that. Perhaps just a quick, short email sooner would have eased my concerns and certainly prevented me from posting on this subject.

Anyways, all seems good. Shrink and the Golden Nugget have always thrown top-notch parties before and the rooms have been excellent. The Golden Nugget, for those not familiar, is the best place to stay in downtown Vegas. It's really the ONLY place to stay if you're going to get a room downtown.
