Denver Nuggets rookie guard Julius Hodge was shot early Saturday on Interstate-76 and was taken to a hospital with a bullet wound, officials say.
He was struck several times in his lower body. Hodge is at Swedish Medical Center. General manager Kiki Vandeweghe said he was in fair condition. At about 2:15 a.m. Hodge was driving east on I-76 as the highway passed over Interstate-25 when someone pulled up beside his car and starting shooting, said Sgt. Louis A. Dixon, spokesman for the Adams County Sheriff's Department.
