Average IQ of Countries
The average IQ in the United States is usually set at 100. Groups within the US score different average IQ's, such as 115 for college grads or 85 for African-Americans. Similarly, average IQ varies from country to country.

Hong Kong 107
Korea, South 106 Japan 105 Taiwan 104 Singapore 104 Austria 102 Germany 102 Italy 102 Netherlands 102 Sweden 101 Switzerland 101 Belgium 100 China 100 New Zealand 100 U. Kingdom 100 Hungary 99 Poland 99 Australia 98 Denmark 98 France 98 Norway 98 United States 98 Canada 97 Czech Republic 97 Finland 97 Spain 97 Argentina 96 Russia 96 Slovakia 96 Uruguay 96 Portugal 95 Slovenia 95 Israel 94 Romania 94 Bulgaria 93 Ireland 93 Greece 92 Malaysia 92 Thailand 91 Croatia 90 Peru 90 Turkey 90 Colombia 89 Indonesia 89 Suriname 89 Brazil 87 Iraq 87 Mexico 87 Samoa (Western) 87 Tonga 87 Lebanon 86 Philippines 86 Cuba 85 Morocco 85 Fiji 84 Iran 84 Marshall Islands 84 Puerto Rico 84 Egypt 83 India 81 Ecuador 80 Guatemala 79 Barbados 78 Nepal 78 Qatar 78 Zambia 77 Congo (Brazz) 73 Uganda 73 Jamaica 72 Kenya 72 South Africa 72 Sudan 72 Tanzania 72 Ghana 71 Nigeria 67 Guinea 66 Zimbabwe 66 Congo (Zaire) 65 Sierra Leone 64 Ethiopia 63 Equatorial Guinea 59

Exactly! Which is why I was using the average eog poster based on my bash attendance with the average white american to come up with my score.

Of course, I was guessing at the average score there, as I didn't lookup any kind of data like what you posted, but I think I came pretty close.

Since everyone claims to be a Mensa member, what is the following number in this sequence and why? It's not that tough.

1, 8, 27, 64, ?

I think we all did this math in High School

In arithmetic and algebra, the cube of a number n is its third power ? the result of multiplying it by itself three times:
<DL><DD>n3 = n ? n ? n. </DD></DL>This is also the volume formula for a geometric cube of side length n, giving rise to the name.
The term cube or cube number is often used to refer to a perfect cube i.e. a number that is the cube of a positive integer.
The series of perfect cubes starts as follows:
<DL><DD>1, 8, 27, 64, 125, 216, 343, 512, 729, 1000, 1331, 1728, 2197, 2744, 3375, 4096, 4913, 5832, 6859, 8000, 9261, 10648, 12167, 13824, 15625, 17576, 19683, 21952, 24389, 27000, 29791, 32768, 35937, 39304, 42875, 46656, 50653, 54872, 59319, 64000, 68921, 74088, 79507, 85184, 91125, 97736, 103823, 110592, 117649, 125000, 132651, 140608, 148877, 157464, 166375, 175616, 185193, 195112, 205379, 216000, 226981, 238328... </DD></DL>Unlike perfect squares, perfect cubes do not have a small number of possibilities for the last two digits. Except for cubes divisible by 5, where only 25 and 75 can be the last two digits, any pair of digits with the last digit odd can be a perfect cube. With even cubes, there is considerable restriction, for only 00, o2, e4, o6 and e8 can be the last two digits of a perfect cube. (o stands for any odd digit and e for any even digit).
It is, however, easy to show that most numbers are not perfect cubes because all perfect cubes must have digital root 1, 8 or 9. Moreover, the digital root of any number's cube can be determined by the remainder the number gives when divided by 3:
  • If the number is divisible by 3, its cube has digital root 9;
  • If it has a remainder of 1 when divided by 3, its cube has digital root 1;
  • If it has a remainder of 2 when divided by 3, its cube has digital root 8.
The inverse operation of finding a number whose cube is n is called extracting the cube root of n. It determines the side of the cube of a given volume. It is also n raised to the one-third power.
Every positive integer can be written as the sum of nine cubes or fewer; see Waring's problem. This upper limit of nine cubes cannot be reduced because, for example, 23 cannot be written as the sum of fewer than nine cubes :-
<DL><DD>23 = 23 + 23 + 13 + 13 + 13 + 13 + 13 + 13 + 13 </DD></DL>Each cube number n3 is also the sum of the first n centered hexagonal numbers, although representing a different shape.
The sum of the first n numbers cubed is the nth triangle number squared. For example, the sum of the first five cube numbers, 1^3 + 2^3 + 3^3 + 4^3 + 5^3, is equal to sum of the 5th triangular number squared, namely 15^2 which is 225.

IQ or aptitude tests are for different segments. You may be gifted at something, and below average at another. Overall IQ is really difficult to determine, more of a guess. My son and dad were math geniuses, and I am above average. I was the mechanical genius. I would have to say I was born with it as I never learned how. A lot of those tests are fold/unfold an object, from 3D to 2D and vice versa. Rotating objects and progression/regression of objects. I always rocked at those, and how do you even study for them? I never did. Aced the Navy entrance mechanical, then aced the IBM entrance mechanical aptitude. Or at least got the highest score they ever saw. I was referred to as the mechanical genius. Big deal, got me in the door. All I did was play ball, fish and chase women. The accounts I serviced were just wall to wall women. We had to suit and tie, I even wore dorky wing tips. Does not require IQ to get far, or even to lofty places in life, look at George Dub.

Best Wishes...OF :rolleyes:

In many of the IQ tests that you take online they pad your score. Many times they want you to pay for something after the test so they pad the score to entice you to pay for information on your test score.

Is that how you got a 6 on yours?

i listed two answers for u

well....i guess i could name u 10 ways to come to the answer.

Cubes of palindromes
Cubes containng no pair of consecutive equal digits
The cubes: a{n} = n*3
Denominator of sum of -3 the powers of divisors of n
Cubes containng no palindromic substring except single digits

and many more

i spelled the word "of" like this, uv. And i did so until third grade b/c i was sounding it out

:(

You are asking alot of mofo to push this total over since mofo would have to account for 155 IQ points atleast by himself. (Im joking by the way)

Right as usual Raiders. I am just working my ass off in the NBA forum bs'ing and past posting while you take shots at me on the front page. I just can't seem to make it to 47%. What will it take for me to get there from where I am now genius?
