What's the difference if you leave it there, or take it out ? I left it there.

It's about using the FP to maximum advantage, IMO. I'm 100% certain that it is always best to use the FP on as big a dog as possible. In your case I would have saved the play until a dog that you were going to wager on anyway came around.

I'm done discussing this. We both made our point several times and there are reasons to do it either way.

Anyone lose the whole 300 or close to it? I keep seeing that "I won $5 after three hundred hands or lost $2.50." I have played and watched many a hand of BJ in Vegas, and most players after 300 hands barely have anything unless they're on a rush.

I think it would be hard to lose more than $50 if you just bet $1 a hand and never raise your bet and only play 300 hands JMO i lost $12

Just flat bet it the whole time and you probably won't do too bad. I think the most I was down during the 300 hands was $12. Went on streaks back and forth, but I just flat bet $1 the whole time. People playing BJ in the casino tend to fluctuate their bets so much after wins and losses. Eventually that one big loss nails them and they can't last. Flat betting helps minimize losses. Lower risk, lower return kind of thing.

Playing basic strategy at $1 a hand over just 300 hands, one would have to go 125-175 to lose $50, that's a real bad run ! About the worst you could possibly expect.

The guys saying they lost 20, 10,8, or 5 dollars and the guys saying they won 5,10,18,32 dollars etc are well known posters.

Personally I deposited only $30 to play this ( figured that would be the most I could reasonably lose), i never dropped below $30, and cashed out up $70, having run the 30 into a 100, I played 5 a hand after the 300+ $1 hands, then got a BJ on my only $25 hand which I played at a $70 balance, the $100 balance was a nice time to quit.
