NY Jets -1
Chargers -4.5

Minn +3
Congrats to TheGuesser, clinched the win over '1" with the LAC cover.
If Minn +3 and ARI + 4 hold on to cover, he's got a 5-0 perfect record as well.
Thanks so much BetDsi, EOG, JK, CB and everyone and anyone else.
Ditto Kane. Thanks.Congrats to one of the good guys
Thanks VV. Just have seen things clearly the last 2 weeks in NFL. Hopefully it can last one more week before reality sets in again.Very nice job Guesser and best of luck next week.
An interesting situation occurs for the first time in the two years of the "one on one" challenge. TheGuesser has won the $1,000 prize ("Spotlight Round") and moves on to the "Bonus Round" with a shot at $10,000 with another perfect 5-0-0 record. He also had the best record in this week's "Qualifying Round".
The question is does a Challenger winning the qualifying round go back-to-back as challenger? IMHO, the rules don't cover this situation. I would say the spirit of the rules is that the best qualifier in the "Qualifier Round" moves to the "Spotlight" the following week (and potentially the "Bonus" the next week following) and then that capper will move back to the Qualifying Round. With this interpretation, TheGuesser would be in the "Bonus", ejd_5277 would be in the "Spotlight", and all others in the "Qualifying Round". OTOH, if back-to-back challengers are allowed, it would be TheGuesser in both roles.
To "share the wealth", I'll propose the first alternative, but I'd definitely like JK's, The Guesser's,"1"'s, and other's thoughts.
I know which side I fall on in this debate!!!
Congrats to the Guesser on a job very well done!
Edit: didn’t we have a situation last year where someone had a shot at the $10k? Anyone remember what we did then with regard to the scenario Bob posited?
How about ejd and I both play for $250 if we beat 1(one), or a $300/$200 split. With either or both of us winning $500, or a $600/$400 split if we both go 5-0? While I also play for the $10,000 this week. And if both of us go 5-0, we play for a split of the $10,000 the following week? Or something like that? I shouldn't be penalized for winning it again, but I understand giving someone else a shot also, and this way the potential liability to one(1), and DSI remains the same.An interesting situation occurs for the first time in the two years of the "one on one" challenge. Sounds good to me ejd, if everyone else agrees. Good luck.I agree with the proposal. So to clarify:
If ONLY TheGuesser OR myself beat “1,” we get the full $500.
If BOTH TheGuesser and myself beat “1” we split the $500.
If we BOTH go 5-0, we split the $1,000, and we BOTH come back next week for a shot at the $10k.
If by some unlikely chance we BOTH go 5-0 in the $10k round, we split it.
Do I have that right?
All received. Thanks again everyone.Check your PayPal, Guesser.
