AT THE VERY WORST the Dodgers should be 2-2. And a very solid argument can be made for them being UP 3-1. As we saw in 2017......YOU PISS AWAY GAMES IT COSTS YOU!

Did you mean they should have been swept.
If it wasn’t for Kinsler stumbling over himself, this series is over. Cora did same thing to Porcello last game. You could see him shaking his head as he was coming off the mound. Also, he finally used Kelly for more than one inning. He threw 12 pitches in game 3, and he pulls him after dominating again.

LAD showing no confidence in Roberts by picking up option at 1.1 million or what Machado spends during the holidays. Doubt they give him a long term deal. Scioscia waiting in the wings.

ZERO chance Mikey ever manages the Dodgers. Or at least while this ownership group and front office is there. The way they run things is 180-degrees from how Mikey does it. It would be a complete disaster if he took over. Won't shock me if they are holding out to see what happens to Maddon after next season. But NO WAY Mikey ever manages the Dodgers and I am 100% certain of that

They've reached the WS back to back years, you don't know what a shit show is

they had the worst regular season roi in baseball history.

Which has nothing to do with their franchise reaching back to back WS, there are plenty of sports teams that are shit shows, the Dodgers aren't one of them

Dave Roberts is signed thru 2022. The no is the favorite he doesn't make it...

Agree

IF the Dodgers fail to win the WS that is

Fair, or not, this team's season will be judged on if they win the final game played.

NOTHING LESS will be accepted. Kirk Gibson's HR is getting further and further in the rear view mirror.

Considering the resources the Dodgers have, it’s hard to believe it’s been 32 years.

Maybe time for a change, but what a thankless job that is. His best pitchers just don't finish the season as well as you would expect. I really have no idea who would get them over the hump. Easy to pick out Jansen, but for this franchise other than 1988 its one year after another where their best pitchers couldn't get the job done. Remember Jack Clark blowing up Tom Niedenfuer? Broxton blowing it in the 9th in Philly? Kershaw no-showing in 2013's clinching loss? And of course the fine showing by Darvish in a home game 7?

Since the Dodgers have won the WS the following teams have won it:

Twins (1991 - might be the last time they won a Playoff game, too)
**Marlins - TWICE
**Diamondbacks (Neither the Dbacks or Marlins EXISTED in 1988)
Angels
White Soxes
Giants (3 FREAKING TIMES)
Blue Jays (TWICE)
Royals

What about the Phillies for only the second time in like a gazillion years of existence...at the expense of the Dodgers of course! Plus the Nationals first title and the *Astros first title. And we might be able to add the RAYS to that list this year of teams that didn't exist in 1988. About all that's left to basically finish off the shame for the Dodgers is for the Padres to win one.

Roberts is to the Dodgers what Doc Rivers was to the Clippers....players love him as well as management, but
Roberts tenure will also abruptly end.

agree ...if he loses roberts has to go....some owners have a quick hook... Nobody in history was quicker than old man steinbrenner

Julio Urias faced nine hitters and recorded nine outs.

Dodgers signed Urias as a 16-year-old out of Mexico.

He's now 24.

Jansen has been nothing ever since he dropped to 92+- range. Only when he was 98 + way back when was he different. No movement 90 mph is gravey for the MLB hitter.

High fastball or throw your cutter. Or throw outside it just off the plate like the pitch before and induce a defensive swing. Anything but middle-in.
