Newsletters records for NFL and CFB
Mendoza Line Newsletter Tracking (through 11/19/18)
Updated to include Monday Night Football. Of the 4 newsletters picking KC on Monday, only Brad Powers (Powers Picks) claimed to be using +3.5 with his pick. Both newsletters taking the total won easily with the Over.
One of the worst weeks for the newsletters in a long time. It looks like a combined 32-56 on records tracked here this past weekend.
Not every newsletter gets posted every week, and I'll try to note when the record doesn't include every week of the season.
Another note is that the grading is based on the line indicated in the newsletter at the time of publication, not the closing line. Many of these newsletters will claim a win against the best available line as it moves throughout the week, but these records reflect the outcome against the line they were willing to make a play on in their newsletter.

Short term sample size. Long term they win just ask them. No one ever clarifies how long is long term but the longer you are paying for these tards the worse things are.

Why do people pay for picks, lots of good info out there for free. Is there ever a case, that buying plays is a worth wild investment. I have always just played my own stuff, could give a shit who joe blow is on.

I have a friend who plays a lot and has subscribed to services from time to time. It wasn’t a matter of being lazy, it was a lack of time when you have family matters to take care of.

I am a Colin Cowherd fan during football season. Guy knows the NFL. His blazing 5 picks last year were very good. I get them every week, 2018 about 58 percent. Always good info.

Tues the Prez lost around 17% of a person's bankroll. Not to be outdone for Wednesday he goes 0-2 -9.29%. That's a lovely 26% of a person's bankroll lost in 2 days. A 10k roll is now under 7500.......and this doesn't include what it cost to get 2 days of plays.
This is the leader of wagertalk. Someone who has been selling picks for decades now. Why these guys believe that using 3% and 4% plays is the way to go is beyond me. Well actually I do understand. They want something BIG to promote on a small sample of 5-1 when they fall into a win streak. EVERYBODY has win streaks. Even the worse gambler of all time falls into a 5-1 or a 8-2 run.
Plus wagertalk limits how you can see the previous days plays.

I met Bryan briefly many years ago at a sportsbook. He was very nice which I would be highly surprised if one of these guys was a complete asshole as that would destroy their name. I do believe that Bryan throws it in at a higher rate than a normal fan does.
Cokin is a good listen when it comes to baseball. But there is absolutely no way he lives off his bets. He is at best a $100 on the top top end of his action. I think his own person site he charges like $500 for a month of plays. That's what he lives off of.
John Kelly has a great story about Cokin being so in tuned to the markets, his plays, what is going on but when asked about the Jim Feist boiler room operations he had not one clue what was going on. LMAO. As if after a week of plays Jim would have a bag of money for Dave and he wouldn't have a clue where it came from.

I don’t think I could ever sale plays especially MLB, I only play one play a day and it’s a dog. winning percentage and small volume played, isn’t sexy enough for degenerate gamblers.

You are sadly mistaken. Many guys can't play multiple plays per day. One play and a dog has a big market.

The key is bankroll management, most of these guys don’t have it. I’m (4-4) + $142.00 posting on the forum $100 a play, had a recent streak of 0-4 a lot of these guys would have went tilt and busted during the 0-4 stretch IMO.

there are a boat load of guys betting $20 and $50 in sportsbooks that would love to be up money after 4-4.
They can always find money to bet. Money to keep the rent paid and the lights on....not so much.

To give some evidence to my "fall into a streak" is the following. There is a betting service on youtube that does daily videos by the name of Mitch. He gives his bets on games daily. At the end of his videos he has been flipping a penny for a play. That penny is now 16-4 (80%) over the time he started doing this. The penny picked the under 211.5 GS/Tor for tonight.

It's all just manipulation. Success in spurts is the kicker and headliner. They might be good people but they're evil in the business side to things. They tweet every hour not to help their clients but to help themselves. It's also real real difficult to handicap all sports.
I post here because I enjoy reading thoughts and opinions of others here. There are smart guys here. You cant predict outcomes of games. Lines for the most part are already on point especially in the fucking NFL.
