Yup. Even the teams whose ballparks are better suited for defense and speed have also succumbed to the
3 run homer. Cardinals back in the day seemed to do very well with defense and speed.
Run expectancy charts are changing and I don't even need to consult the data.
Man on third, less than two outs and the success rate this season is 51%.
I assume that's low compared to seasons past.
We see issues in the postseason too.
When teams need to manufacture a run, they have a hard time executing.
