Angels strike out too much, dont steal bases, dont bunt, dont get productive outs. They do hit into lots of dps, they do make low iq baserunning decisionss

They have the lowest strikeout rate in baseball. I believe Fletcher is still the toughest to K.

hard to throw one by heim.. The angels earlier in the year were not hitting , now the ball is falling in with low strikeout rate.

Weird they take the most pitches in baseball but only #8 in walks....

they are trying to wear out the other teams staff I guess then the steady bats take over. They could be a team to watch with the right pitcher going.

Their bullpen is passable but they need a quality arm before the trade deadline because you cross your fingers when Heaney and Skaggs
take the mound hoping they don't land on the DL next day.

No lefty tonight, nonetheless, can't remember the last time I saw a evening total of '10' at the Heim. Plenty of 9.5 yes.

Wish they would take that sign and toss it in the trash. That is where it and that casino belong

Every Angels player is wearing #45 to honor the passing of their teammate.

You can't make it up.

What's more, Tyler's grieving mother threw out the first pitch....a perfect strike to Tyler's best friend.

And, oh yes, the Halos hit the Mariners with seven runs in the first inning.

Before the game, the Angels observed a 45-second moment of silence to honor the passing of Tyler Skaggs.

Seattle's Mallex Smith grounded out to second for the game's final out.

Emotional celebration in Anaheim.

Gerrit Cole was right the other day when he said half the teams in MLB don't care about winning. SEA just going thru the motions.

GREAT

After somehow starting 13-2 they are now 39-56 meaning 26-54 and for someone who has them U70.5 RSW I am very happy

I wonder if the Angels might be a good fade tonight, it doesn't hurt that Matt Harvey is starting, the M's haven't listed their starter yet, but with them I'm not sure it even matters, curious to see what the market thinks once a line is posted

Railbird says they strike out too much, LOL, the guy just makes shit up without ever checking the facts

I have known Rail for a lonnnnnng time. He went to HS with my Bro and Sis. They graduated the same year. The similarities between them end there. I'll leave it at that

Today, July 13 is Skaggs bday.
Angels scored 13 runs on 13 hits.
That's amazing.

It gets more eerie...The last time there was a combination no-hitter in CA was BAL @ OAK on July 13, 1991--the same day Tyler Skaggs was born.(somebody cue Twilight Zone intro)

I did not agree with Cole. I agree with the commish Manfred . There are many teams in the race for wild card. The bad teams have no depth. Nobody matches up with The yankees depth. Best record in MLB before today with their best pitcher & #2 relief guy out all year ...Stanton out too. .. Cole should not talk too loud. Astros no lock. The A's are not far away.
