GREAT! Keep raising them MGM. After these take effect people will be out almost $100 when you also realize these Fees ALSO get taxed. Add in the $40 per night to park and before someone sets foot in their room they are out about $175. Add in the $300+ room charge per night and MGM will find itself badly hurting when the economy starts going the other way - and that will happen no later than 2022 and it will be 100% because of #GOPTaxBillScam

TYVM MGM because that just makes my/our family decision to stay at The Orlans (Lower Resort Fees and FREEEEE Parking) that much easier OR to stay at the La Quinta we stay at. And at LQ we get breakfast included - something NOT the case with MGM properties. The LQ breakfast has hot items such as eggs and we can make our own waffles.

Keep raising those fees MGM. Pretty soon when your hotels are emmmmmmmmpty you will have to greatly reduce them

La Quinta offers free waffles?

Learn something new every day.

Copies of USA Today are free at the MGM Grand gift shop if you pose as a hotel guest (They never ask for a room key).

That's the only deal left at MGM Grand.

Park across the street at Hooter's for free.

A holiday inn I was recently in had a pancake machine.Batter was squirted onto a conveyer belt...30 seconds later 3 silver dollar pancakes popped out the other end

See how busy those LV resorts are when states get sports gambling. The blue Chip in Indiana has free parking for starters.

The people aren't going to Vegas for sports betting.
If and when CA gets it that's a different story

A certain segment do. Perhaps Fremont makes a big comeback for gamblers, starting with the Derek Stevens properties.

Ran by your super liberal buddy Jim Murren who is suing the shooting victims, would only let fake hero security guard go on the Ellen show

YUP! They have it where you fill up a cup of batter then pour it in the maker and do it yourself. Although the breakfast attendant can help if need be. They also put out a plate of cookies later in the day and they are damn good.

There are plenty of places to get a decent meal within walking distance, too

Overall a nice place to stay and not far from the Red Rock. Or at least the one we stay at: https://local.yahoo.com/info-20292422-la-quinta-inn-suites-by-wyndham-las-vegas-red-rock-las-vegas

I think Vegas is all for conning first time visitors. Which there are millions from all over the world. The frugal visitors will never go back after being nickel and dime there whole trip

I haven’t been their in 15 years and don’t see myself going anytime soon. Can do any form of gambling they offer there within a hours drive come this fall.

People get so worked up about fees, but if they just repriced their room rates 5% higher none of you would care. Its just marketing/advertising people. Be a sharp and see it for that.

Sure lots of people on the internet profess they will never go back or go less. Guess what? If none of these fees existed they probably wouldn't be visiting as much because the Strip and the gaming industry has changed a lot in the last two decades. The customer who went 4 times a year in 2000 probably hates what the typical Strip casino is today, and fees have very little to do with it. In his place are people who weren't going to the Strip in 2000 because a focus on casinos and the three standards of dining (cafe/buffet/steakhouse) did nothing for them (or more likely they were too young to go to Vegas in 2000).

Just deal with it and ignore the noise. The folks inside MGM don't give two shits about all the internet's whining. They operate a business that gets over 90% occupancy, generates massive amounts of cash in a supposedly highly competitive industry, and finds ways to turn over their customer base every year. Last thing they care about is if some guy gets his panties twisted over paying to park. Half those people who complain about parking fees are just coming to walk around and spend no money on property as it is.
