Maybe. Bostons a public team, ERods probably been their most consistent starter lately. Plesac hasn't gotten much respect from oddsmakers all year. If it's a trap I fell for it.

Yah 3*.
i had one play for 4.5* on UFC with Germaine De Randamie +145. I upgraded it from 3* during weigh-ins because her opponent Aspen Ladd showed up to weigh in like this (link below) as a -155 favorite. Then proceeded to get knocked out in 20 seconds.

Any commentary on cubs ? I’m beating myself up. I love Indians yesterday. Was posted to make it my largest bet of season and I’ve been red hot 6 weeks. I passed bc I didn’t trust my gut. The number seemed so far off to me. I’m smarting, so to speak ..

Lines that make zero sense to me definitely make me look into it more. But if I can't find a reason to justify it, I go with my opinion. Lost units avoiding plays or betting opposite of how I feel on a game because of suspicion sting the most for me. So I've tried to stop betting or thinking that way entirely. Long story short, I've conceded that I don't think I am smart enough to determine a "trap" oddsmakers (who probably have a bounty more info than I do) are setting.
I've had success in NFL and posted. But this was like 10+ years ago. Don't follow football much anymore.

Losing Cano in the process was huge too. He was tearing the cover off the ball. Cano was batting .600 w/ 5 XBH's to start August

Totally missed your cubs comment. I think the cubs are undervalued and have underachieved this season. But their bats are heating up and starting to get contributions from guys like Happ. They've also had a winning record since mid July despite playing all quality clubs. Losing Kimbrel, Kintzler, and Cishek is not good but I have faith in Phelps, Ryan, and Strop to end games. Same can't be said for the Phillies pen which is atrocious. They really don't have an arm in the pen I'd trust with a 1 run lead. Vargas is a fraud to me and his numbers this season are bound to normalize. I imagine the line is the way it is, because of how poorly the Cubs have done on the road and how well Vargas has pitched at home (even though home numbers were at pitchers park Citi Field prior to trade to Phillies) this year.
