PRN and sports betting media company VSiN today with NASCAR announced a long term content partnership to bring sports betting video content directly to race fans at NASCAR.com. Illustrating its commitment to embracing legal sports betting to increase fan engagement, NASCAR will air “Racers Odds,” the most detailed breakdown of betting lines and head-to-head matchups ahead of each week’s race.
As part of the partnership, VSiN’s sports betting experts Jeff Cogliandro and Steve Makinen team up with PRN’s NASCAR analysts Jeff Hammond and John Roberts to deliver the actionable news and insights NASCAR fans and sports betting enthusiasts need to make more informed wagers. “Racers Odds” is a 60-minute show leading into the day’s race.

For NASCAR, the partnership provides the sport with another key channel to educate its fan base on the world of regulated sports betting.

“Sports betting presents a great opportunity for NASCAR to strengthen engagement with fans, so it’s important that we provide content that helps educate fans about this fast-evolving space,” said Scott Warfield, NASCAR managing director of gaming. “Elevating NASCAR gaming content is a critical area of focus for us, and PRN and VSiN are perfectly positioned to help us accomplish that goal during the most exciting portion of the stock car racing season – the NASCAR Playoffs.”
PRN also views the legalized gaming space as an exciting new tool to better engage motorsports fans.
“When the Supreme Court cleared the way to allow individual states to legalize sports wagering, we knew right away that we not only wanted to be in this space, but that we wanted to be the first to take the lead in what will be a bright and exciting new chapter for NASCAR, our fans, and a growing audience of motorsports wagerers,” said Gerry Horn, Senior Vice President and General Manager, PRN.
“We took our decades of knowledge in quality motorsports programming and went straight to the leaders in sports betting news, analysis and data at VSiN, and have combined to create our groundbreaking Betcast: Racers Odds.”
VSiN will leverage this partnership as an opportunity to develop even stronger relationships with betting-minded NASCAR fans – a group that is quickly flocking to the gaming space as the industry continues to grow across the country.
“NASCAR truly understands the impact sports betting will have on fan engagement and has embraced it,” said Brian Musburger, founder, and CEO of VSiN. “We’re excited to partner with NASCAR and PRN to deliver credible sports betting information. With a passionate fan base, no sport is better positioned to capitalize on legal sports betting than NASCAR.
Racers Odds will kick off its coverage of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs this weekend with information and insights leading up to the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway starting at 6 P.M. ET, Sunday, September, 15th on NASCAR.com, VSiN.com and SiriusXM Satellite Radio (Sirius 216, XM 201, App Channel 965).

VSIN killed their subscriber base when they went private. So funny... the decision actually did the opposite of what they wanted to accomplish which was to get more viewers. Now people finally coming back to it very slowly.

The replays are good enough. Plus the follow the money replay is on the radio in las vegas.

Pauly Howard and Matt Youmans are you favorites for the emotional rants you hear every now and then. So much better than the normal middle of the road BS you hear elsewhere.

John Kelly, Matt Youmans, Dave Cokin, Pauly Howard and Mitch Moss have always been informative, very fun to listen to, objective and wise through the years. Mitch and Pauly have a synergy working together. All five seem the same as when I first heard them here in Las Vegas and all seem to hate Hype. I miss hearing JK and hope he returns. He would fit in perfectly at VSIN and could have his own old school show with all his contacts.

Radio needs to return to the radio and be free. A great (Sports Gambling) show would talk about each day's card, the smaller sports, present the next day's opening line and feature Forum folks who know their shit in my mind. There are at least 20 (?) here, both loud and silent. And have few commercials breaks and provide Best Bets.

Scott Ferrall used to have the best sports gambling-talk ever on SiriusXM. That and The Stardust Line my two favorites ever.

It’s a shame the old Stardust Line shows are not available online in an archive.
And the Lefty Rosenthal shows too.
There’s a couple of clips on YouTube but that’s it.

These were both before my time but they were definitely noteworthy contributions to Las Vegas sports betting history.

Who is Todd Wishnev and why is he on the radio? JK would be much better.
Todd was on the showtime docuseries on sports betting that showed last spring or summer. can't remember. he can be found at the south point sportsbooks betting games. what you see/hear on vsin is really him. that isn't an act.

Too much John Murray on VSIN. He offers nothing of value for the listening audience. Of all the sportsbook employees only Mike Palm offers good information and it is because he is betting the games. Would like to see VSIN cut back on low level sportsbook employees who prove on the air why they are low level employees. Good news is VSIN management not happy with John Murray and he may be out soon but the sooner the better.

Thank you John Kelly for not having low level sportsbook employees on your show because they offer nothing of value.

Great post. Murray's act is wearing thin. I don't know why VSIN feels the need to talk to sportsbook directors. Does anyone here care if the South Point made or lost money last weekend? Or the Westgate? Who cares; they are dealing the 11 to 10. They are always going to make money in the long run. They should spend more time handicapping the games and less time worrying about chasing steam.

Very good insight. I love listening to mike palm because you hear the sports betting action in his voice and his rants. He bets dimes and nickels so when things go sideways he has some emotion to let out.

Not sure why the suits dont like john murray on the shows. Well it might be his kellyinvegas stuff. Leading sheep to the slaughter.

He made a very off color comment that didn't go over well. I can't remember the specifics, but some of the hosts found it very off putting.

it is worth the money.. they cover the board in the pro sports and some big college games. They go off topic but for a few dollars a month it could tip you some news if you were away from the computer. They have some pro's come in like ER , dink, , 6th sense. ... don best flies to east coast to try to get customers at fan duel school.. but does not go on Vsin.. puzzling... at least I never seen them on it. Jimmy V is the star ..the rest of the cast is overall pretty good.

I understand they are leaving Sirius XM. The only time I listen is in the car. I think they will regret this move.

price is going thru the roof too at $4 a month
On top of what they are paying for Xm. Certainly not breaking the bank, but when money gets tight, a lot of these subscriptions get the ax. People are less likely to cut XM out of the budget when it has Sports Grid for free.
