Re: NITRO TV

No. It's NItroTV. We are just watching it through the Perfect Player app.

If you go thru the Nitro people directly, They will have you download their app. Which is flawed. It does not update properly because you do not have access to their settings. You can also not hide the content you do not want to to see like the foreign countries content. So what I do is take your NitroTv login information and generate a new password for you and insert it into the Perfect Player app. Works like a dream.

NitroTv and the PP app make this service outstanding.

have you hidden things in the APP you send? like do you hide foreign country stuff you figure nobody really wants to see? is that what you mean?

I can confirm this. I've spoken with many who bought the Bushay flash drive and were promised great things. The streams are bad and often don't work at all, and Bushay is technologically illiterate.

Re: NITRO TV

Honest review of Bushay’s amazon sticks/boxes, service, and Nitro:

I bought both a box and a stick from Bushay and have been using them for almost two years now. I was paying about $200 a month for cable and sports packages. I did not get prime movie channels like HBO etc.

From the start I used primarily the smooth streams app and could receive all my sports with no blackouts. It was not perfect. There would be times when you’d get buffering and channels that wouldn’t work. But most of the time it was/is a tremendous service. It cost me about $10 a month compared to the $200 I was spending. Quality of the picture wasn’t as razor sharp as my old cable feed but still good.

Enter Nitro last fall and it was a game changer. I probably use 5% of what it offers. A ridiculous amount of channels. I can watch nearly every network station across America. I enjoy shows like "60 Minutes” but don’t necessarily want to wait till 7:00pm when it’s on locally, (PST) so I pull it up on a east coast channel and watch it at 4:00. When the school shooting happened in Florida I pull up the local coverage. Hurricane in Houston? I can pull up all the different networks from that city and get in depth and up to the minute info.

Nitro’s selection of movies isn’t as extensive as a app like Terrarium but the the quality of the picture is beyond superb and still thousands to select from. They start immediately and never buffer or lag. Same cannot be said for Terrarium.

The Sports (USA/Canada) category is my favorite. 90+ channels that include every local sports broadcast across the continent. I’m still a Boston sports fan and love being able to access NESN and NBCSB.

You get every PPV, every sports package, and usually can decided which feed you want to watch from every game, (home or away). Best of all zero blackouts.

The Perfect Player platform that I have my Nitro and Smooth Streams apps on gives me a great working guide that for the most part is accurate. However sometimes you have to hunt around, especially on their sports packages, to find which station a game is on.

On the other hand Nitro is not perfect. You can get some occasional buffering. It can get laggy every now and then you have to exit, back to the perfect player guide, and reenter to get a perfect stream again. Sometimes channels on the network page won’t load, (this could be the fault from the network itself and not Nitro). The other night a friend told me none of the channels on the NBA package would open. I tried on mine and found he was right. But this was the first time I ever saw this occur. I keep smooth streams as my backup in times like this so there is always a feed I can get any game, in any sport, I want. I notice that every now and then Nitro decides to substitute the NHL network with a MMA channel. Or TSN, Sportsnet in Canada will have a frozen picture but working audio. For the most part all minor inconveniences because there’s always another way I can pull up that station or game. I happily accept these small inconveniences by saving almost $200 a month in cable bills.

Lastly every time I have every had a problem with my devices or service Bushay has always been there to resolve the issue for me. Sometimes he’ll spend a hour or more on the phone in taking me step by step in helping me. He has updated my devices free of charge, made me aware of new improvements/apps, and taught me how to use them. He is a man of his word.

In turn I have recommended to friends and family his service and they’ve bought devices for their household. They are happy with the product.

Thanks Bushay. :cheers

An excellent job done by the individual adding programming to the Nitro tv service. Yesterday he added (15) 9-11 related documentaries, movies and video clips to the 24/7 group. Great great stuff in here covering that dreadful day.

One thing I love about Nitro is the NFL 24/7 SuperBowl channel. I have no idea where they get the games from but the NFL should really look at offering this on a pay subscription. All commerical free reruns of old games with the original broadcast. I think they have a loop they use because some games I have seen more than once but then they will throw in a new one. The other night I watched super bowl 7 miami/dallas. I really enjoy watching this stuff. They also had Dal/Rams from 85 playoffs and Dal/Wash from 83 playoffs. Its really great to hear summerall and madden call a game from back then. This is such a great channel. If the NFL ever offered something like this I would sign up if it was reasonable.

We have replays of everything. Have prolly half the UFC replays including the first 15. It’s cool going back watching how the sport has developed into what is it today. Hoyce Gracie, Ken Shamrock etc. very cool stuff. We were told eventually we will have them all too.

A 24/7 news events folder would be very interesting. Watched some of the CNN 9/11 stuff last night, never seen it before.

Buffering issues happen a lot with popular live sporting events.

Fortunately I have Sling, DirectTV and Direct TV Now for the easy to find games. Tough stuff like NFL Sunday Ticket, buffers too much. ACC Network buffers. Replays on Fox College Sports buffers. Frustrating experience. I have fiber optic internet. High end. NBA and NHL better. NFL has been bad.

Not sure if they were overwhelmed serverwise, t was frustrating. For prime time games, I’ve always had good luck with the TSN and Sky Sports feeds (less traffic?). Another thing you can try that has seemed to work for me is watching games on smaller market feeds. For example Minn -GB, I would watch it on Sioux Falls, Wausau, Des Moines instead of Minneapolis or Green Bay (where the majority is watching).
