Trump wants to p
Refusing to give trump a blank check for him to spend however he wants without having to divulge where the money is going for 6 months is a new low?
Trump doesn't care about money. It's going to the people. He got rich before he got in office. The rest are trying to get rich while in office. They are scum of the earth holding up the money.

You couldn't be more wrong. Trump's trying to make money for the US, that's it. He made enough money. His ego needs more. That's why he's trying so hard to be the best President.

Perhaps the most idiotic post of the year.

Yea, he's flying down to florida so he can get secret service agents to pay for rooms...phew, as Art Bell used to say...They're out there tonight"

Loved Art Bell. He could make you believe anything. Listened to him nightly many years back.

Yep. The cost is like a million dollars per trip and he is charging them a lot more than the going rate.

I would feel bad, but that's not the issue, this is the Wuhan virus, if trump calls it the chinese virus that is technically inaccurate but close enough.

Chine lied at every step of the way with this virus, 1 st it didn't exist, then it couldn't be transmitted human to human, then it was contained, then they refused outside experts in to study it and the situation, finally they lied about the number of deaths. If they had admitted they were losing tens of thousands of people the world would have taken it far more seriously.

Fuck china.
Boy if that doesn't sound exactly like someone you worship. Hypocrite much?

Finally, the Idiot may be getting it. This is a good start. Hardly undos the damage he has caused, but if he puts out THIS message often enough, maybe the sick cultists will get it: He should get on TV and say he regrets calling it any kind of ethnic virus. But that would entail the Idiot admitting his mistake, and so far, he's been incapable of that.

Trump says U.S. must "totally protect" Asian Americans from coronavirus blame

President Trump wrote in a tweet Monday that the U.S. must "totally protect" Asian Americans from being blamed for the coronavirus outbreak amid allegations that his use of the term "Chinese virus" has led to discrimination.
"It is very important that we totally protect our Asian American community in the United States, and all around the world. They are amazing people, and the spreading of the Virus is NOT their fault in any way, shape, or form. They are working closely with us to get rid of it. WE WILL PREVAIL TOGETHER!"
Why it matters: The New York Times on Monday interviewed nearly two dozen Asian Americans who said that they were afraid to leave their homes and have been yelled at or spit on in public during the coronavirus pandemic.
  • The Times called it a "sudden spasm of hate that is reminiscent of the kind faced by American Muslims and other Arabs and South Asians after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001."
  • World Health Organization guidelines advise against the use of "Chinese" or "Wuhan" virus to describe COVID-19, but that hasn't stopped Trump or many of his Republican allies from using the term in an effort to assign blame to the Chinese government.
Nothing but a smokescreen. We've been down this road with him how many times?

I would reopen after the 15 day period. After that, leave it up to the governors and give them whatever they ask for. The President's job is now to figure out how to pay those that lost money.
What a great idea. Put Trump in charge of distributing money. What could possibly go wrong here?:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

That's how the game is played these days. Hypocritical when the Left does it but not a peep when the Right does the exact same thing to get what they want. A hypocrite far worst than a past poster.

Implementing the Defense Production Act would have prevented companies from gouging states. Former President (then Senator) Harry S. Truman called war profiteering or gouging seditious and unpatriotic.

Because it is seditious and unpatriotic.

Some executive on that call said what sense does it make my shareholders to charge $0.50 a surgical mask and make 20% profit after costs when we could make $4.00 a surgical mask and make our shareholders happy?

This was the perfect test of our private sector and this President and they failed.

The President didn't fail. Barr put everyone on notice that price gouging will stop now.

I listened to Sky News yesterday. Every problem that we are having, the UK is having the same problem. Shortage of masks, etc. If you didn't know it was Sky News, you would think it was news from the US.

You mean the people who own big corporations, I don't see where giving Trump and the republicans a 5 billion dollar slush fund could be considered a good thing

If Trump wants to totally protect Asian Americans from blame, he can start by stopping calling it the Chinese virus, he could also say a few words to his supporters about not blaming Asian Americans as well

I agree with you that we should open after the 15 day period. No one knows when we can treat all since we don't know how many will be sick.

That would be a big mistake, unless the health officials agree. Here's what will happen imo, after 15 days the health officials will say we shouldn't re-open for business, that we need the shut down to last longer, Trump will ignore the health experts and re-open anyway, whatever progress we've made will be quickly lost as things will get real bad again. Trump is more interested in getting re-elected than saving American lives, he knows the weaker the economy gets the more it hurts him, so all he cares about is getting the economy running as fast as possible and the fact that the virus still isn't contained won't matter to him, and when he does re-open the country, it will set us back many months fighting the virus, just my 2 cents

Looking at that chart, it appears the death rates are similar in most areas with the exception of the very old in italy. So either old people in Italy are in bad shape. or maybe old people in china were in good shape?
