Shity format. Can't fix. I think Cam goes to NE, or Jax, Jamieis goes to the other, and Tyrod starts for LAC with a Rookie they draft a possibility.

Cam was doing fine until he got hurt last year. He's a reasonable QB in the right system. Real issue with him is the right offense and game for him is going to insure he's done in a few years. Kap did have a very similar game, but he's much older and being out of the game for so long he can't be a real option. Cam is a real starting QB option in September.

I think for Cam to be effective he needs his legs and almost every mobile QB usually hits the wall hard at Cams point of his career. Dante Culpepper type collapse coming for Cam in my opinion

Kap has two advantages right now - his body isn’t all beat up, and his contract would be more team friendly. Of course he would have to look great in workouts to get to that point.

He also has a few disadvantages:

1. He can't read a defense.
2. He can only read half of the field and has to have basic passing game principles installed which limits offensive creativity.
3. He's a system QB.
4. He is/was just as reliant on his legs as Cam was. He's been out of the game for a long time and he's actually 2 years older than Cam. There's no way he hasn't lost a step or two now that he's 32 years old.
5. Once defenses got enough film on him, they shut him down. That's why he sucked so bad the last couple of seasons and lost the starting QB job at one point to Blaine freaking Gabbert.

So teams need to look in a different direction, a lot of meh out there.

Nobody wants Winston, Newton, or Daulton.....

All of them are a waste of time.....

I think there are plenty of teams who would take them, but at a super low price. Plus a few teams that might be interested aren't going to sign them before the draft. If you are the Chargers and you indeed get Herbert, what good does it do to have any of these guys on your roster? If it turns out someone beats you to Herbert or if the price to move up is too insane, you just fall back on the other guys and pick a prospect later. All three of these guys should easily beat out Tyrod to be the starter, but if you get a 1st round QB you probably just sit him half the season and bring him in when Tyrod inevitably shits the bed. Pretty much same thing Cleveland did.

Pats waived Kessler, who might have actually been their best QB, as lousy as he is. They only have 2 QB's, the pathetic Hoyer and the very questionable Stidham. Jax only has 2, Minshew and Joshua Dobbs.

The Chargers have such a strong roster. Cant believe they are doinking it away
