Also in Vegas today, the marriage license bureau opened. There is a line down the block.

So much for Obama's classic line about red states, blue states and the United States.

Have we ever been more divided where every issue, even a critical life-or-death issue, is political?

Oh yes, the Civil War in April of 1861.

Not surprising that most Republicans want to return to work while many Democrats are looking for more handouts.

I knew states like New York, New Jersey, Illinois and California would see this crisis as a way to bailout their states.

Never let a crisis go to waste.

Whether you like him or hate him, Trump is the most divisive president we've ever had and likely ever will have

Now you’ve done it. There will be zero sum guys who spew politics on multiple sports forums, in here in 3...2...1 with their lunacy, links, and all caps words.

Action from Bundesliga starts May 9.

Sticking to sports, I'll post my review of the WNBA Draft later this week.

Haha.

No issues when it comes to social distancing at WNBA games.

Plenty of good sections (not seats) available.

Sabrina Ionescu is a baller, loved watching her play in college

I agree, KANE.

Sabrina has a lot of Diana Taurasi in her.

Like Diana, Sabrina is not a big factor defensively.

Her only offensive weakness: Finishing at the rim.

She does a great job of competing and she sees the floor beautifully.

I love team players.

Quick aside: I thought she could have smiled more during the WNBA Draft.

She's not very charismatic in a league where the players need to sell themselves and the league.

Eager to watch the following match-up: Sabrina Ionescu versus Sue Bird.

Sabrina is 22 and Sue is 39.

Golf courses remain closed in Nevada because Governor Sisolak saw 4 guys playing and it made him mad.

However, Government is open for business. Classic!

I'm watching Governor JB Pritzker here in Illinois.

He's mandating the wearing of masks beginning Friday.

Masks are selling for $1.99 at CVS.

No thanks.

I'll lift my hooded sweatshirt over my nose and mouth.

For people who’ve never been poor they don’t get it. I grew up right on the poverty line. Food would have taken precedence.

Can you even get N95 masks right now?

At first, the public was told masks do not help.

And then, we were told masks help us save our neighbor.

Now, they say we MUST wear masks.

Enough already.

3M has been making N95 masks.

I've seen N95 masks priced anywhere between 60 cents and $7.95.

Better just buy one. Some of the stores here won’t let you in without one now.

I have seen a couple of bee keeper masks. There is a guy in full hazmat garb (think ghostbusters) drawing attention at the local stores.

In Florida this has been the law for the past few weeks, seems he's a little late to enact this

Interesting.

In Ohio, they cannot mandate you to wear a mask in public but they can mandate you wear a mask when you enter an Ohio business.

I just got back from food shopping, you have to enter on end of the store and exit on the other end, you have to wear a mask, you can only go way down the aisles, so people aren't passing each other, you need to be 6 feet away from other people, you don't have to wear gloves though, and certain products are limited to how many you can buy. Down here it's almost impossible to find toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, and hand soap

Not a popular idea amongst us bankers. Put on your mask then enter a bank. Never thought I’d see that one. I’ve had enough. For every article backing these ideas there’s one that doesn’t. Let’s get on with freedom of choice and let us all decide for ourselves

Just keep your mouth shut. Simple, easy and effective. Besides, how many strangers at the store do you really need to converse with.

I went to one WNBA game in my life.

Bought a $10 upper level seat and sat in the row directly behind the LA Sparks bench.

The ladies can swear with the best of them.

Here's a thought; you can go to the beach in ventura county, orange county and sa diego county. But, not in los angeles county. Quick glance, the politicians have no f'ng clue.

Bad feeling these states will not open due to politics. If Hillary had won we’d be open May 1. The MSM would be telling us this virus isn’t as serious as originally thought. I’m really getting tired of this shit.

Just for the record, and I’ve said it before, I’m not a fan of either party but the far left has pushed me to the far right.

Colorado begins opening this week so I don't think they will all follow the same time line. Besides it's getting messy with mayors making their own calls in spite of what governors are guiding to. I think this group is nothing more than all governors agreeing on what should be in phase 1, 2, 3, etc. Only problem is for California and other states casinos will be the last priority while Nevada can't wait for that. So I suspect this is just a PR piece to say we are a bunch of Dem governors that care but this won't lead to any kind of full compliance.

I think the smart approach would be to allow some flexibility with smaller and non strip properties and open them sooner. I don't see an onslaught of visitors hitting the strip for some time. Get some of those people back to work, try out some social distancing solutions and give the locals and chance to leave the house.
