Bill Laimbeer would be very good today

I like to bet based on toughness.

The angle works well in the WNBA.

Speaking of the WNBA, you're the only one I know who follows it, I'm looking to place a future on who wins the title, let me know if there's anyone you like, these are the best odds I can get at my places

Aces +350
Mystics +400
Sparks +400
Sun +500
Storm +650
Mercury +900
Lynx +3000
Fever +5000
Wings +7000
Dream +8000

Hmmm...

Thanks for the list, KANE.

The list is missing two teams: the Sky and the Liberty.

The Sparks are loaded -- but at 4/1 -- that's no bargain.

i like billy laimbeer aces +350 to win his 3rd title, the same he wins as a player if david stern didnt have refs rig game 6 on a phantom foul against him in lakers last possesion.

Great response by both men.

Parrish standing tall after delivering the knockdown punch and Laimbeer brushing himself off once he rose from the floor.
There was nothing “ great “ about what Parrish did
One of the dirtiest fouls in league history
He should have been immediately ejected and suspended.
An analogy in baseball is it’s ok to plunk a guy for a payback
But don’t throw 98 at his head like Clemens did to Piazza

Considering what Laimbeer did to Bird, If anything the Chief didn't go far enough, luckily for laimbeer he fell to the ground fast enough to stop getting hit

To be clear, I don't condone Parrish's blindsided punch.

But if you are going to go that route, then own it.

I liked the way Parrish stood his ground after the offense.

Note to self: Avoid being on the other side of a BOMZEE argument.

Laimbeer knew it was coming, that's why he took it and didn't retaliate. You don't close line Larry Bird and expect to get away with it, all the Chief did was stick up for a teammate. If Mike Trout gets HBP, the other team knows one of their guys is getting plunked. Laimbeer is maybe the dirtiest player of all time, I can promise you the fans cheering in the Garden after Laimbeer went down weren't the only ones cheering, fans all around the league were cheering also

Laimbeer truly overachieved in the NBA.

He knew his strengths and weaknesses.

A thinking man's player.

He was a third-round draft pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1979.

Today, there is no third round in the NBA Draft, only 60 players are selected over two rounds.

Is the 2020 NBA Draft still set for June 25?

How is that possible?

The Draft Lottery was originally scheduled for May 19.

That was yesterday.
