Almost Allright
GO Bucks!!!
Flew from Detroit two weeks ago to Vegas. Full plane
What hurts the metro-detroit gamblers is they have few options now. Can't go to Canada, the closest Michigan casino is Firekeepers, then Soaring Eagle. They can go to Toledo, don't know the Ohio rules. Hopefully the Michigan online gambling starts at the end of the month.
I can go to 12 casinos before a Detroiter can go to one. I still have to check out the Four Winds sportsbook.Yep true, Toledo is expected to get some new business if it does not go to online.
Didn't notice the middle are booths. How much for a booth?Free seats are on each end of the book...stuff in the middle is pay
I wonder if Eliis still has the steak special.Mash potatoes at ellis island
i use to stay at the continential hotel on flamingo, 19$ a night, on corner of flamingo and i think koval, its terribles now. this was in 1989. Mash potatoes at ellis island still great, also 2 am karaoke their. keno in the lounge too.
When's the last time you've seen a plane fly that wasn't 95% to capacity. Covid times or not. If they aren't full, it doesn't leave the barn.Flew from Detroit two weeks ago to Vegas. Full plane

Several in May and June. Cleveland to Charlotte. 50% tops. When's the last time you've seen a plane fly that wasn't 95% to capacity. Covid times or not. If they aren't full, it doesn't leave the barn.
I don't know who in their right mind would pay $1800 for a booth to watch a game on tv for 4 hours.
Here's how desperate things are in Vegas right now. Slow season to be fair but I just got this offered to me by a "host" I never talked to before with Caesars:
2 nights weekend before Xmas in a suite at Paris (no resort fees, taxes, nothing out of pocket)
$200 food credit
$200 free play
$100 flight rebate (I looked it up, $49 each way on Southwest so basically a free flight)
20x multiplier on my tier credit to make sure I stay Diamond (although I got Diamond from a status match)
I checked my win/loss I'm down $485 with Caesars properties this year. I bet $20-40 a hand at Bac or blackjack, occasionally place a $100 sports bet. Never dealt with a host before, always just get lame email offers.
Like shit, how desperate can they get?
