Steve Kerr's a wussy

Cooler heads need to prevail when you're up 2 and you're arguing a tie-up. However, hothead Draymond argues the call with the refs and picks up his second technical, giving the Hornets two free throws with :10 left. Rozier, who ended up scoring 36 including his team's final 10, sinks 2 free throws and eventually hits the game winning 20 foot baseline jumper at the buzzer. Such a stupid loss when you're up 5 with a minute left. Coach has got to get in his center's grill and remind the big mouth that they're still up 2 in that situation. Keep your trap shut and get back on defense. Let them go for the tie or win and if they don't convert, you survived, especially since your best player was pulled just before game time not feeling well.

Kelly Oubre has been an All-Star this month.

Another big night.

Leading 3-point GS shooter in Feb?

Not Steph.

It's a player's league.

The days of an NBA head coach bossing around players is long gone.

Coaches can only collaborate with the players now.

What's more, it seems like the players have a secret pact to exert only so much energy on defense.

Jamal Murray scored 50 points last Friday night without attempting a single free throw, an NBA-first.

Shame it cost GS the opportunity to beat a Charlotte team without Steph. Popovich wouldn't stand for that shit., present nor past. Losing your cool on the court like that in a one possession game, you have to be smarter. Wussy Kerr.

Looks like the Bulls finally got one right in the draft. Patrick Williams is finding his ways already at the age of 19. He's going to be a beast in a few years.

I like him too.

Youngest player in the NBA.

Williams came off the best at Florida State, yet he was the fourth overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft.

You need point forwards in the NBA, not point guards.

Need to guard LeBron, Giannis, Durant, Leonard, Harden, etc.

Have you ever listened to a NBA huddle when the coaches are mic'd up? Nothing special besides, as follows: have to get back, have to make shots, we're not rebounding.

The point is the money these guys make is a joke. At least in college their rep can bring in talent. Not picking on Kerr, they're all like that; baby sitters.

Along those lines...
The famously hairless NY Giants all-pro QB Y.A. Tittle related a story about how his team was down by @ 21 points, & during a timeout he huddled with his coach, and said that millions of tv viewers were wondering what genius words of wisdom the coach was telling him.
What he actually told Tittle was “ You got us into this mess Baldy, you get us out of it!”

At least coach came out, grew a pair and told media sports outlets when asked of Green:s actions that he's got to be smarter in a such situation. Hopefully he extended the fine from the 2 techs although I'm sure it's no big deal to him.

Expensive babysitters.

Kerr makes about $10 million per year, second only to Gregg Popovich's $11 million per season.

Considering where they draft every year, with the exception of last year, their picks have been A+

Coaching in the NBA is about voluntary cooperation.

That's what Pat Riley told Jeff Van Gundy.

Van Gundy then passed along the message to Billy Donovan, who mentioned the comment the other day in a postgame press conference.
