Just a few years ago my cousin died from kidney disease at 71.
She had been getting regular dialysis for 2-3 years.
Prior to her kidney issues she had been receiving quarterly steroid injections for her arthritis pain.
This had gone on for a few years.
After my cousin's and Mangold's deaths I'm left wondering if there's a link between prolonged steroid use and kidney failure.
RIP Nick.

I think its true but especially so for anabolic steroids, which have been known to have bad effects on a number of internal organs.
Medically approved steroids, like Prednisone, less likely, but that may be because doctors tend to restrict how much they are prescribed. I've used Prednisone; great stuff, but not supposed to take it more than maybe twice a year.
