I'm a glutton for punishment. I'll check out this series and then bitch about it. My standard practice.

Any word if factorial is going to release a behind the scenes look at his betting doc? I'm interested in all his content.

Touts/scammers like Vegas Dave would not exist if it weren't for greedy, lazy idiots who think they can get something for nothing.

They're going to lose their money to the bookies anyways, so the touts want their cut.

Watched tonight

Vegas Dave comes across as the scumbag he is

Kelly in vegas came across much better. Never really knew much about her... surprised me actually.

The first episode was good but at times blah .. talking about different kinds of bets, how to bet them, etc.

Krackman kind of tries too hard..”no one else is betting Maine on a Saturday morning at 1130”. Stuff like that is cringeworthy, especially since it’s not the case at all

Also, can never get enough of Jimmy Vaccaro.

How about few are betting Maine compared to the national tv and tout games?

I wish I was more like Krackman where I could bet three games, go out mow the lawn, grab a burger then check
the final score.

They spent to much time showing people watching games in sports books. I'm like krack I don't really watch games so the idea of watching people watch games is wack.

Another things that kind of jumped out at me was the difference between the crowd shots of the people watching games in Vegas and New Jersey. The Vegas crowd seemed more frustrated and loser like. The Jersey crowd was up and high fiving. Maybe it's because it's new or maybe the northeast sports fan is sharper and will win more.

Why do people call Brent Musburger a legend?

I have heard that a few times since that vsin channel came around. He use to talk over sporting events. That sounds funny to me like when people call bookmakers legends. The put out numbers for people to bet. What's legendary about either one of those things?

I believe it is new....and the east coast crowd are used to sports bars and getting rowdy at their local watering hole....

Agreed about watching games.. the only time I watch games I have no interest but betting is when it’s close at the end.

I put my bets in, and leave. Nothing more tilting than people cheering on the opposite betting side of you

And re: krackmans comment, it’s such a myth that people don’t bet lower level games. Lots of people do, and not just sharp.... or else they wouldn’t put the games up

Vegas Dave's statement that he's addicted to making money is probably true. He's also addicted to scamming people to get their money and that is a fact! It's a shame the feds haven't put away hundereds of touts for lying about their success. I one time had someone send me screenshots of all of his games for 11 days. The guy got destroyed yet continued to claim on every form of social media he was winning every single day.

Pretty boring I thought. No useful info to help you win games, the director had an obvious hard-on for Kelly Stewart, and it seemed like one long commercial for South Point.

Anyways, watching Vegas Dave sell "Whale Plays" at 500 a pop and having idiots suck it up like hotcakes was amazing.

I guess touts CAN make shitloads just selling dreams of free money to greedy idiots.

Watched the first episode last night.
Very good production quality and easily watchable narrative style.

The first episode is clearly aimed at an audience who’ve never bet a game in their life. Very basic lessons.

Kelly is the star, but cashing an $8,500 parlay ticket one time does not make you a legit professional sports bettor.
She’s found a niche as a tv personality and it’s been working out pretty good for her so far.

I am like Krack in that regard. I rarely watch or follow a game I have action on. I can't do anything to impact what takes place so why bother watching? I'll catch the final score and see what happened but other than that I almost never watch games I have a bet on. I also rarely bet games I am attending. I just want to enjoy the game and not have to worry about who is going to win and in some cases - by how much.

.....and now with my situation being what it is, i am not betting anything until I am 100% cancer free. And even then I have come to realize a thin, rectangular box is controlling too much of my life. I need to go out and LIVE LIFE and I am not doing that now. When I am better I want to gather with friends and maybe some family around 9A on a NFL Sunday and take a ride on the Santa Ana River trail for about 2-3 hours and stop at some Mom/Pop place for a meal not knowing what happened in the NFL until I get a quick peek at lunch time OR take bikes to Laguna Beach or similar and just enjoy a day with nice weather and good company and not spend the day at home watching NFL games and watching life pass me by,

I'm the same way, I rarely watch a game I have action on, I'll check the scores periodically to get updates, but I get too emotional when I watch the games, I don't need the stress. It's funny, when I was younger and just getting into betting I would try to bet whatever games were on TV, I loved watching games I had money on, now it's the opposite.

I'm looking forward to the day you start a thread telling us you've beaten cancer and you've got your health back. You also make a good point about living life, since I've been out of the hospital, every day I'll just sit on my stoop and enjoy the day, not doing anything other than just basking in the beautiful weather and relaxing. In the next couple of weeks I plan on starting exercising again and getting back to my normal life, and I'll never take my health for granted again. Keep up the fight Winky, and always stay positive #WinkyStrong

I found it the same as you. I don't think the series is supposed to be any more than that.

I do watch my money in play. I like to see for myself if i was right or not. I also play a lot of player props, its better for me to watch those.

I caught the last 40 min of first episode last night.

Can’t believe suckers are paying Vegas Dave $500 a pop for “whale” pick to the tune of $180K for his “whale” play in one hour.

I forgot what he said, something like 1 million in sales for the week or something like that.

Has to be total BS, are there that many stupid people out there?

I dont think so ChiTownJoe. He is a fraud. If the legal trouble doesnt prove it, his history on social media does. He couldn't even Photoshop correctly on some of his posted tickets. His money isn't from sports gambling. It's from other things.

Why does it seem like these touts who claim to make it big are ALWAYS scamming? Makes me wonder if that dude is ProfitBets.

Vegas Dave is a huge scammer.. obviously a liar when it comes to hitting “75% of games”

But i also think people are desperate, and from listening to people at the casino speak, the general public isn’t aware of how unlikely those kind of stats are, nor would they even question the validity.

I used to give way too much credit to people being intelligent. But now I realize... people are fuckin dumb, and since Vegas Dave has a huge social media following, the payments he was receiving are likely true.

On Tonight’s episode #2

There’s Todd, originally from Pittsburgh, who gave up a finance career in Manhattan because it was too hot and crowded on the subway.
He likes the South Point so much he’s never properly furnished his Vegas condo or unpacked his suitcase.

Then there’s Kelly obsessing about her wrinkles and her deep fear of being replaced by younger girls reading from a TelePrompter better than her.
Which is further proof she’s hasn’t proven herself as a successful professional sports bettor.

Watch Vegas Dave’s confessions of his past degenerate gambling and the numerous times his parents bailed him out multiple times for 6 figures.
It was exposed that Dave was free rolling off his parents to win his KC World Series futures bet.

Then there’s Dave Halpern the new character, former private equity financier, in his massive Westgate high roller suite pontificating about how to ensure sustainability and reminding everyone of all the do’s and don’ts to survive a winning sports bettor.

And Bill K. continues reflecting on his very sentimental journey from AC where he started gambling at age 16.

Also, some very dark and painful gambling realities are tabled by Bill K., Halpern, the incognito Bookie,
and other addiction experts appearing on the show.

A sobering and thoughtful hour with this episode.

Wow... Vegas Dave really showed a soft side tonight. Did I hear right that he had 700k in debt and his parents paid it?! Wtf?!

Also, kelly admitting if she wasn’t attractive, she wouldn’t be successful at all, and admitting she has about 5 good years left doing it.... Pretty surprising for a female to admit that

Not a horrible episode tonight. Don’t see the real side of it very often
