Dsethi thats not true. Mofome sends me 5 cents for every post I make at EOG. And he sends me an extra 3 cents for every time I mention his name. So I am benefiting as well

The mofo ghost was not a big deal, i named any ghosts ive been. honesty is important, Fish was fun. People make too much of a big deal over things, it becomes a waste.

And yes, I believe your CREDIBILITY does take a hit when you aren't being HONEST John, even about something as simple as FAKING YOUR RETIREMENT...

I do know firsthand about living a lie because for a long time, I was dishonest and when confronted about things, I LIED or SPUN them around...

It was wrong and I have had to accept the consequences...

Opinion from someone who is unbiased and not a contributor to any of the forums:

SBR used to be the best - hands down they had the best information regarding sports betting, handicapping etc. - Now it is like a high school - a bunch of nothing being posted - I think they tried to increase traffic by creating fake accounts to get some young guys worked up and it ruined the quality - once quality goes downhill so will the quantity as it drives others away. I do believe they are the most honest when it comes to sportsbook ratings.

Rx - decent but not going anywhere

EOG - Too early to tell - seems to go in spurts but has three quality respected posters that if they stay true - place will take off

According to Alexa (and btw, Alexa is not #1 in my book as far as reliable stats), cappersmall has dropped off considerably in the past year.

I haven't been over there much in quite a while, has it fallen off a lot traffic-wise T3 ??

Back when I used to post my picks there (3 years ago), their picks forums were ROCKING (busier than RX's or anybody else's at that time)

I can only speculate that John isn't too happy about losing so many posters to EOG after mofome resigned...

Many, including myself, in the industry have noticed a change in John's posting style...

Recently, John has made posts to scare our employees away by suggesting they will be gone after Football...

That simply isn't true and it's not a nice thing to put fear into innocent people like that...

As far as our "Friendship," is concerned, John certainly hasn't acted as one lately, but like always, time will tell...

I wish him well and hope to see that "other" John return...

He was a much more honest and better poster...

I originally joined SBR by searching for information on gambling forums. John seemed like a good guy who was always willing to help.

I heard EOG was solid, so I joined here. Sbr was still "home" for a few months but slowly became 50/50 for me.

Shortly before Mo came here I was enjoying EOG more. SBR became very childish and maybe that was their intentions.

I am looking for serious sports knowledge, and that I get here at EOG. I do like entertainment, but I perfer the kind EOG offers. SBR is some kind of daycare that has 75% bullshit and 25% solid posters. There are a few good ones left there; Crazyl being one.

Although I don't know John personally, he has really built up animosity towards anyone affiliated with EOG. His style has changed dramatically and will only hurt sbr and help eog.

I am aware that he doesn't care what myself or anybody else thinks, and that could be a problem. Sbr will probably be ok, but I really feel EOG will be gaining ground on all forums for the next few years.

I still visit sbr a few times a week to see what is going on but I hardly find any threads that interest me. The ones I post in are when I am trying to help out a new guy or share my experiences or advice with somebody.

When I joined there, BigBullocks helped me alot.

When I joined here, nearly EVERYBODY helped me, including THE SHRINK. I have gained more respect for him nearly everyday. Also, the Mod staff here has always looked out for sincere posters. They seem to value the members.

I know these are only my opinions, but I am confident that some share the same.

Mofo, you are da man too! Damn good addition to any site and definitely a friend outside of the boards.

chandler good choice coming over here. you are 100% right about sbr it has turned into a zoo. I know I joked around over there a lot but I also wanted to talk my sports and it just wasnt happening over there. I hope for sbr's sake once fball comes around they start talking more sports. As for EOG this place is easily the best, it has taken over the top forum
