A woman who apparently was working as a hostess on one of the boats called Mound police about 7:30 p.m. to report possible prostitution, drugs and sex acts, according to police reports. The information was coming from her brother?s girlfriend, who was working as a hostess on the boat, the report said. The girlfriend said the boat was chartered by the Minnesota Vikings.

The Hennepin County Sheriff?s Office said it is investigating a report of alleged criminal conduct on an Al and Alma?s charter boat. Nobody has been arrested and no suspects have been identified, said Sgt. Haans Viteks. He wouldn?t confirm or deny whether any Vikings were involved.

?It was a stag party atmosphere on the boat with allegations of strippers and sexual conduct,?? he said. ?We?re still trying to sort things out at this time.??

A Vikings official said the team would have no comment. Two hours after the Mound police received the call, another woman called to complain that six or seven men pulled up in a shuttle bus limo and urinated in her yard, police reports said. She followed the limo to Al and Alma?s, but she couldn?t identify the men, said Chief Jim Kurtz.

The responding officer was told that there were 40 people on the boat and that it was the Vikings football team, the police reports said.

The urination incident is no longer under investigation, Kurtz said.

A telephone call to Al and Alma?s wasn?t returned this morning. Anybody with information regarding the boat allegations should call the Sheriff?s Office at 612-348-3755.

Agree they could of had a sex party at a players house or went on a porn cruise that would of been ok.

But to have sex in front of workers and other people who did not sign up for this porn trip is not right.

Update on story
------------------

The lawyer representing Al and Alma's, the company that chartered the boats for the party, calls what happened onboard "astounding."

Stephen Doyle says there were sex toys, and sexual acts, happening "all over" the boats on Lake Minnetonka.

Doyle says there's "no doubt" cornerback Fred Smoot paid for at least one of the boats.

Doyle says he turned over to authorities documents which were signed by Smoot.

"It was Mr. Smoot reserving and paying for this," Doyle said. "I don't know if he actually visited or did it over the phone. And they know he was bringing some people to go out on the lake for the evening."

Once the boats left shore, Doyle says women started stripping for some of the players, who put down money as the women danced.

Doyle says that then escalated to players giving and receiving oral sex.

We've learned there were as many as 90 people total on both boats, not all Vikings players.

There was also a captain and three servers on each boat. Doyle says he interviewed six of the eight on Tuesday.

Right now, Sheriff Pat McGowan says what happened might be inappropriate, but not necessarily criminal.

"The dancing, in and of itself, would be legal. However, it does require a permit," McGowan said.
"And this office, we are the issuing authority for permits on Lake Minnetonka, and we certainly did not issue a permit."

Doyle says the boats were on the water for 90 minutes, and the cruise was cut short by the company when the owners found out what was happening.

Smoot, nor his agent, returned calls on Tuesday, but late in the evening the Vikings organization released a statement saying, "The organization has been made aware of the allegations involving our players and we take these allegations very seriously. We are working diligently to gather as many facts as possible."
