Brooke baby!

Carly very solid ,but she could see Happy Birthday and advance!

I am going with my original choice Brooke , that is who I hope wins.

This broad (Brooke) has completely grown on me and i thought she was the best last week and this week also. Something I dig in her voice. Its nice to watch this show were the contestants are at least in decent shape. Carly really needs to start wearing some sleeves and her husband looked like a cross between Frankenstien and Eric Roberts.

What can i say?....Jman put that one up on a "tee" for me.....all i had to do was swing

Bucs, did you catch it last week when he sang and when the song was over, Simons mic was still on and he asked Paul to ask Hernadez to strip for her? You had to listen to it real closely. It was right after the song.

Re: American Idol...anyone watching?

i think brooke is going to definitely make the final 3. the question is, can she beat _________ and ______________?

Carly didn't look too hot tonight.

She can sing Heart anytime though.

I am pulling for Brooke though.

No I picked Brooke first, I did mention Cook after I originally said Brooke, I had the names mixedup...I did mention the blonde.

So what's up with the blanks?

Kristy was okay , she sung 'Faithfully' gave it a country twist I was not wild about it but the judges were.

BTW you set me up once again with that bogus thread two days ago.

ID what kind of music do you prefer , what artist? You like country?

My top 3 Brooke, Carly and not sure yet, probably one of the guys....

Re: American Idol...anyone watching?

This ain't like previous years where there were two to three legit people who could win, like Bo and Carrie. I think there are 5 to 6 realistic winners. Most are ringers, but either way they are there. David the frontrunner just laid an ostrich sized egg. KKKristy Lee Cook is a ringer and still stinks. But I see 3 very strong guys and three very strong gals. Parity hits American Idol. In my mind Chakezie stole the show tonight.

My don't have a chance list,

Rameile schmeil, cute filipina, worst of night, barely top 12 material

Gay Bar lap dancer, Not enough homosexuals to keep him around long. Pizza Bistro? Odd name for a gay bar.

Bride of Frankenstein. Zero range for Joplin soundalike, sounds the same every week.

KKKristy Lee Confederate. How did this bimbo ever get a recording deal? Total fraud since show #1 audition. One bad performance after another.

Dread Zepplin. Lucky worse guys than him to keep him around this long, they are gone, he will be soon.

Jacuzzi. I like him but three ringers in front of him spell doom sooner than later. Glad he made top 12. A real good guy.

LOL Bride of Frank! so true. Joan Jett reject!

Chakezie was great, I thought he was dead on arrival in this round....he took the biggest chance and probably cemented himself for the next several weeks...I don't think he can win it though but who knows he did surprise tonight and I believe his confidence really will take off from here, he seemed to have a chip til tonight, needed the Simon approval. Yeah Boyeee.... roo roo!

no, once they reach the top 12, and perform on the big stage, its just the bottom person each week.....

its 2 per week, when they are in top 24 til they get to 12, then 1 a week

I must be the only one who thinks that Brooke is awful. She has a very weak voice, and the piano just has to go away.

This is yet another year of "best season ever" and I can only find one star in the whole group. The only person with any charisma whatsoever is David Cook. The rest will never pan out when this competition is over.

As for Archuleta, he reminds me of someone thats in a cult. Hes just creepy.

Guess I'm in the minority here as I really like Kristy Lee's version of 8 Days A Week. Not that I think she is going to win, I just liked her alot last night.

Brooke is growing on me too. She has that wholesome sweet aura about her, I hope she does really well.

Ramielle surprised me, I like her alot, but she had every opportunity to open it up last night and do something rockin & uptempo to show that side of her. Instead she drawled through another dreary tune and was very disappointing. Can't this gal rock at all ?

The homo can go............and I'm not a Jerkeasy fan. Or that Castro guy either.

KKKristy is the fraud of frauds. Has been since audition #1. Sorry but I thought she was worst of the night again. She had centerfold looks, but can't sing for shit. Her Kristy Lee cd just sucks, and she never had to sell her horse to get to Philly, nothing she says is true. She is one of the worst frauds ever, and I see her getting kicked to the curb pretty fast. Especially after last night. She would be a better porn star, with her mouth full so we would not be subject to her dreadful singing attempts.

KKKristy Lee Cook fraud continues for another week. They had to get rid of homosexual Pizza Bistro lap dancer, because he was getting too much negative press. But Kristy just keeps up the entire phony charade. Her best line on the show, "My life was so small before this show." What a load of crap.

Kristy Lee

Kristy Lee Signs In Triplicate with Arista, Britney, and BMI
Brand-new Arista Nashville artist Kristy Lee continued to establish her roots in Music City by signing a songwriter affiliation deal with BMI at their Nashville offices. In addition to her label contract, Lee recently inked a deal with Britney Spears' newly-formed production company as its debut artist. Superstar Spears, a BMI affiliate, has already agreed to make a cameo appearance in Lee's first video.

The 17-year-old singer claims Selma, Oregon as her home, although recent months have been spent attending to business matters in Nashville and performing live in various venues in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Lee adds horses and softball to her passions beyond music. She is managed by Marty Rendleman, who formerly managed LeAnn Rimes.

I guess she forgot about this. And also forgot she has not been in Selma for years. And did not sell her horse to get to Philly audition. And is a seasoned pro who was never nervous her first audition. I doubt she even sat in line with the other 10,000 no chance shmucks.

KRISTY LEE COOK: Devoted

Powerful range, but the low warm tones just suck you in.
Recommended if you like Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Martina McBride.
CD price: $12.97 / MP3 price: $12.97

To paraphrase my favorite Wayne line, it certainly does suck.

Well bottom 3 already, after disasterous third or fourth clunker performance in a row. Brittany's former opening act ringer, the only male who ever met Brittany that did not boink her is already out. This ringer is next to go. My life was so small, sure thing Kristy. Give Penthouse a call.

KRISTY LEE COOK

Kristy Lee Cook (stage name, Kristy Lee) is not your typical young lady. Until Kristy moved to Texas several years ago to pursue her music career, she was living in a log-cabin style home, surrounded by pine trees, in Oregon, and riding her horse, Midnight, almost every day. Putting Midnight, an Arabian, through her paces usually meant jumping, racing, and swimming in the river...most of which Kristy did bareback.

David MacKechnie, a songwriter from Cave Junction, Oregon, heard Kristy sing and suggested that she send her material to Marty Rendleman in Dallas, Texas. It seems that Marty discovered and managed LeAnn Rimes for the first three years of her career. Kristy was 15 years old when the family flew Marty in to see Kristy perform at a local fair, but she immediately recognized the talent and agreed to sign her.

Marty had met Joe Galante, Chairman, RCA Label Group, while she was managing LeAnn, so it seemed only natural for Marty to introduce him to her latest country prodigy. Kristy was signed by RCA and put on their Arista label. A promotion deal with Britney Spears was put in place, and it seemed that 'stardom' was imminent. Kristy was 17 when the label put some of their young acts, including Kristy, on hold and then dropped them. RMG subsequently terminated the contract with B & L Productions.

Not about to give up her dreams, Kristy moved to Dallas to pursue her career and gain the experience offered by the many venues in the area. Kristy worked with the Kim Dawson Agency for modeling and commercials, she released her first CD entitled, "Devoted", and she has headlined at Cowboys in Arlington, Dallas and San Antonio, Texas, for two years.

In 2007, Kristy moved back home to Oregon to rest and prepare to try out for American Idol. She is a very talented young lady who has her own unique sound and style.

At 5'8", Kristy Lee looks like a blonde, blue-eyed Brook Shields, has an incredible voice and is the wholesome, All-American 'girl next door'. The entertainment world is in for a treat! Here's the REAL American Idol!!! Rendleman Management Group, Inc. is proud to have had Kristy Lee Cook as a client, and we wish her great success in her career.

My life was so small, sure thing Kristy, I had to sell my horse, I guess she was working for free all those years.

Re: American Idol...anyone watching?

While its not uncommon for artist to sign deals early on and spend years going nowhere, I agree she has no place in the contest. Aside from the obvious (there were clearly more talented people dropped), she made it likely because the producers want someone who appeals to the country music scene. If they want to put pro's (or former profesionals) in the competition, then let them split it into 2 groups..one composed of never signed artist and one composed of formerly signed artist. Totally unfair to compair a 17 yo kid with no studio experience to people who have cut multiple demos or who have been backup singers in the past.

OMNIVOROUS FROG

EOG Master
Re: American Idol...anyone watching?

She did not not just cut a demo or two, she had extensive studio work, obviously her cd for sale shows that. Plus she was performing in Texas professionally for years, on stage. It was my understanding the concept of the show was to discover undiscovered talent in America. She is still represented by an agency, as a professional In the Olympics, she would be DQ'd numerous times. Five of the remaining 11 have previously been discovered, two are not even American, and one required a visa to get here. Like in horses I would say Carly is a dual disqualifier. This all leads back to last season, where you practically had 12 talentless singers in the final 12. Where gimmicky beat boxer Blake nearly won. The final 12 tour was hardly a success and they had to do something drastic just to infuse some talent back in. I think the screening process leaves much to be desired, and many untalented singers never get a chance, because they are still undiscovered. I would call this the Sanjaya effect.

Best Wishes...OF :cheers

They did a Q and A with Carly, what was your favorite moment on the show, American Idol? You know what she said? When Sanjaya got eliminated. Talk about being spoonfed. Simon could have said that. The producers definetly said that. He went from top vote getter to eliminated. Simon was quoted as saying, if Sanjaya wins, I'll quit the show. Brutal.

Married tattooed freak Smithson, maybe to get Visa. Bot Simon's Cowell and Fuller just gushed she would win the contest, Season 5, before she got kicked out of America. Tough to be American Idol, when you can't even stay here. I heard 326 CDs for 2 million investment. And she complained the record company did not do enough, or 9/11, or who knows what excuse. She is Irish not american and another seasoned pro.

Here is the not even close to copper/lead/zinc cd. Ultimate High? Not in sales. Below 400, maybe some people bought it by accident, or they used in to torture terrorists.

Even husband finally made it to show, but he sat in darkened area not to scare small children watching. Also set record for shortest time on camera of a family member, 2 nanoseconds.

In this show numbers and popularity talk. If you did not learn that lesson when talentless Taylor Hicks won it all, with can't rememer the lyrics McPhee both beating out Daughtry, you have not been paying attention. Right now by dialidol it is Archuleta and the rest. By a very wide margin. He has been blessed and annointed. If this was a singing competition, it would be different, but it is a popularity contest.
