It gets more eerie...The last time there was a combination no-hitter in CA was BAL @ OAK on July 13, 1991--the same day Tyler Skaggs was born.(somebody cue Twilight Zone intro)

Sorry for sounding like a curmudgeon, but there is no such thing as a combined no-hitter. A no-hitter is an individual accomplishment by ONE pitcher. Sure the narrative is nice, but what it really is is an act of ineptness by the opponent's offense.

Uh, yeah. There is. You can label it whatever you want.

But when one team goes hitless for an entire game, they end up with NO hits. They got NO hit by the opponent. Whether it was one pitcher or five.

Check MLB records and see THEY count a combined no-hitter the same as if 1 person did it.
