The EOG Octagon is a head-to-head handicapping showdown featuring a winner-take-all purse of 2,500 bananas.

Each contestant provides 1,000 bananas to the prize pot with EOG supplying the added money.

The format is flexible.

This month, the participants have agreed to 30 plays over 30 days with the handicapper earning the most units being declared the winner.

All plays must land in the range of -200 to +200.

Contestants must select full-game sides or totals, first-half sides or totals, halftime sides or totals or RHE props.

Contestants are allowed only one wager per event.

Contestants will post selections using prices and pointspreads from the following establishments: CRIS, Pinnacle, BetDSI, Westgate and William Hill.

Once a contestant posts a selection, neither the contestant nor the opponent can submit a play in the same game.

To make an official selection, each contestant must submit the following four pieces of information in the post: Betting number, team name, price/pointspread and available sports book.

The handicapper with the most units at the end of the month will be declared the winner.

At month's end, the winner stays on the court for the following month and the loser goes home.

I'll try to recruit ABUNDY, HEIM, KANE, NUT6, PINNACLE420, SCOOPER, SVBETTOR, TOBY TYLER, VIEJO DINOSAUR and others for this space in 2019.

If your opponent agrees to tennis selections, it's a go.

As a baseline (get it?), I would suggest the four major tournaments should be included.

A low-level tournament in the hinterlands with limits of $250 would be a no-go.

all tournaments have 10,000 or even no limit at Betfair. A tica or non athlete at bookmaker should NOT be making limit qualifications. super nines or better is a good standard.

WNBA full game sides, moneylines, totals and 1H/2H sides and totals.

MLB full game moneylines, totals, runlines (-1.5/+1.5 on favorite/Dog respectively... no alternate/reverse runlines.) also FF moneylines and totals. No FF spreads or 2H MLB bets.

Wimbledon as described above.

I’ll compromise and give you tennis game handicaps (Wimbledon men’s/women’s singles only) and UFC MAIN EVENT MONEYLINES ONLY, (That’s UFC 239 on July 6th and UFC 240 on July 27th.) That’s as far as I’m willing to go.

-200 to +200 fine of course.

Birdie, this is where there are real consequences for all the bullshit you pull.

If you were even halfway honest about your record and didn’t past-post literally 90% of your plays, I would let you play pretty much anything you wanted.

Instead you couldn’t even resist taking a couple shots at JK with bullshit numbers in your last Octagon matchup. You literally can’t help yourself.

This means that since there’s real money at stake here, and since I can’t trust you to be a good-faith participant in the contest, that I’m going to have to stop what I’m doing and verify every single number you post immediately after you post it. That gets very hard to do with some obscure tennis qualifier, a golf matchup only available at one book, or some Spanish/French/wherever 2nd league soccer match.

Sorry, but I’m standing by my earlier post with regard to what I’m ok with. If that means you’re out, then you’re out and I’m sorry we couldn’t come to an agreement. It’s your call.
