Anyone Here Have a Monkey as a Pet?

Seriously.


A monkey, a marmoset, a leemur. Anything like that?

Had a lady friend who had a marmoset. Thing was cool as hell. And I worked at a zoo one summer and the Leemur they had was cool as hell. So I'm curious how they are as pets. I'm sure somebody out there has some info.

I've heard monkeys or the sort are rather needy as pets. I don't know anyone personally that has one. My children have a potbelly pig as a pet though, he is pretty laid back and extremely smart.

Yeh had 2 of these. Defintely neat. And had a Sugar Glider as well. That was abandoned.

A monkey as a pet seems like something only TheX would be thinking about....

I once bought an ex-gf a leemur stuffed animal, so the part about having one of those odd looking creatures did make me laugh.
