The ball went in the fucking glove. That's an e-HR. What the fuck is must have happened? That's what actually happened.
 
First time I saw it. Assumed another bartman situation. No indication anybody touched that ball. If it happened, doesn't show. That cost the Padres the game.
 
Exactly what I thought the first time seeing the replay but the camera doesn't really show what happens when the fans reached for it, they must have deflected it ... freeze frame slow motion view needed.

Had a sizable wager on no run that half inning, counting my blessings ...
 
On a side note a lengthier video shows these were Giants fans and giving Padres fans heckling them the finger... stooge move though really helped their team ...
 
I'm not one of those who cry about a badbeat off a correct call. Why I didn't post anything before howid. Now I'm angry as fuck.
 
Just because that angle doesn't show interference doesn't mean the umpires didn't have a way better look at it for their review ... just speculating of course, giving them the benefit of the doubt ...
 
There is precedent. They should go back to that play that inning and continue the game 4-1. They can do it. Series goes until Thursday.
