Hence that's why I said almost making history Dell. And not like practice because there were special teams players on both sides of the play regardless of their abilities or skill levels.

You are no William Allen Po Po but almost is the wrong word. There is no almost when not possible. Can kick 100 yard field goal and doesn't count. There is no chance. There was no chance in a pee season game. Would have made is what you needed to use.
 
It is possible to make an 80 yarder. Kickoffs from the 30 have reached the goal posts. Back in the Benny Ricardo days, 40 yards was considered low percentage moonshots. Now they are like extra points.

Nope. To me, its wasted time. My favorite time to bet MLB is August and on, so there's only so much time. Years ago I used to watch NFL preseason and believe what I was seeing. You can't do that, because so many guys who "star" in these exhibitions are selling cars or working in warehouses a month from now. I'm aware there's plenty of bettors who do well in these games. Good for them. I will be on the sidelines.

Almost, would have made, all the same lingo. I know it's a preseason game but for a kicker yo still make it from that distance with opposing special teams players on the field is still quite an amazing feat. Its not like the ball was kicked of a tee. Still have to play the preseason games like it or not. Had it been a regular season game, yes history would have been made, but still deserves honorable mention at the very least as it still eclipsed Jystin's distance.

I'll best you in any essay or comprehensive sports story writing contest. You're a lot sooner to critique rather than put your money where your mouth is, especially because of your displeasure that I'm short of the missed milestone.

Got the first part of sentence.... you're writing skills are excellent... got it. No clue about the next sentence. I am not sure about any talk of a bet and missed milestone jibber-jabber.
I am curious on how would you score a sports story writing competition captain.

Im not talking in terms of typos. I admit my phone sucks because the buttons are huge and smartphones these days type what it wants, not what the author intends to.
 
And yes sometimes the way I write leaves a lot out of the obvious, but the subject is easy to understand when Im referring to subject matters that support yours or my opinion. Hence as obvious as the dreaded 300 unit mark which every day I am trying to slowly but surely cut into.

It's become ridiculously easy beyond 50 now. Even plumbers who played soccer are kicking 40 yarders on ESPN Game Day.
