I played little league bases and foots with Fangio so I did want him to get a shot. Don't think he was flashy enough, think of Harbaugh, Singletary, Mariucci, and he doesn't fit that mold.

agree, I hate when these old parks get razed, seems they knock down all the history that took place along with the bricks and metal.

I feel your pain, Peach. Worst offense of this kind happened back here in NY. The original Yankee Stadium torn down from pillar to post. No indication that there was a great ballpark on the site, a crime of the highest order. George would never have stood for such disrespect.
