Hey, good news. The bad news is its in Washington, the Angel of the Winds casino out of Arlington, WA. This will be the 4th Indian casino open in the West.

The Coeur d’Alene Tribe was the first to open its facility in Worley, Idaho, on April 27, and the Kalispel tribe opened its facilities on May 5 north of Cusick, Pend Oreille County, and Airway Heights, just outside Spokane.

Yep, here's hoping the California and Nevada Indian casinos stick it to Newsom and Sisolak and reopen soon.

Good to hear.

Thanks for sharing, Bob.

Sidenote: The Oneida Indian Nation in central New York is looking to open three casinos once it receives the go-ahead from the state.

Long live the brave Indians!

They must have some strange rules in NY, up here they are sovereign nations, they dont need permission. They stayed open for about a week after the gov ordered everything shut.

Like Richard Munchkin said on the GWAE podcast today, look for big changes in games where the players can hold the cards. They are going to have to wear gloves. Possibly some of the carnival games could be dealt face up,

No they're not, just like they're not wearing masks. the world isn't always going to be like this.

Wash has low numbers too, they're never going to loosen up anymore than they have too, it's not in their nature - they fear everything so all risk is scary. they'll toss some tiny bone out there like curbside pickup and the dopes will be satisfied for another month.

This is exactly why Trump is going to win. He will be the only avenue to avoid dictatorship.

Will you wear a mask and gloves in the casino, or tell them its not always going to be like this?
i wont do either, where did you come up with this glove stuff, the first I've heard of gloves.

You guys are missing the big picture, 3 weeks ago the media melted down because florida opened a few beaches, shock, horror, dire warnings of coming doom ruled the airwaves. Now NJ is opening their beaches. Restaurants, salons, retail, and even bars are opening all over, the return to normalcy is happening much faster than we think.

Just saying if things change for the worse. Doubt it but you never know.

An interesting little blurb about georgia...

Well, would you look at that.

Three weeks have passed since Georgia started reopening its economy, and the feared apocalyptic resurgence in the coronavirus that was supposed to overwhelm the state's health-care system and cost thousands of lives hasn't come to pass. And many of the same experts who warned against reopening the state "prematurely" - a group that includes Dr. Tony Fauci - are now conspicuously silent.

Meanwhile, other experts have pointed out that Georgia's reopening, along with the reopenings of others states like Tennessee, South Carolina and Texas, has so far worked out.

And if Georgia's reopening has been a success so far, then in theory, "no state is going too fast."
Some Wall Street economists say a continued decline in serious illnesses suggests Georgia’s reopening may encourage other states to ease restrictions and lead to an eventual resumption in economic activity in the US.
"Georgia is a bellwether mainly because the reopening has been so aggressive,” said Stephen Stanley, chief economist at Amherst Pierpont Securities LLC, who cited in a research note Wednesday an almost 20% drop in Georgia’s Covid-19 patients in the past week or so.
"The other aggressive states, like Florida and Texas, are still opening up more slowly," Stanley said in an interview. "So if Georgia is successful then, in theory, no one is going too fast - there should be a strong presumption that reopenings everywhere else should be successful."
Kemp lifted a state order on April 24, allowing nail salons, hairdressers, bowling alleys and gyms to reopen so long as they followed state protocols. Restaurants and theaters were given the go-ahead three days later.
To be sure, as BBG explains, it's too early to declare "Mission Accomplished". Georgia has suffered a lot, but even as hospitalizations and the spread slow, a new “hot spot” of cases has emerged north of Atlanta, and the risk of spread remains moderate.

But one thing is clear: A few weeks ago, the mayor of Atlanta, and several other Democratic mayors of the state's largest cities, slammed Kemp and implied that he was putting lives at risk for the sake of the president's reelection campaign.

At the time, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said she was “dumbfounded” and “extremely concerned" by the decision.

There's a big difference between people being outside at the beach, soaking up plenty of vitamin D from the sunshine, and sitting in a dank, smoke filled dirty casino. You don't have to touch anything anyone else touches at the beach. At the casino, you have to buy in with cash. You have to wager chips/cheques. In some games, players touch the cards. Casinos are some of the dirtiest places anywhere. I know; I've dealt before.

Fair Warning was not making that up about the gloves. I've heard it may be used in a number of casinos.

Wouldn’t surprise me if casinos adapt the cruise ship method where everything is on your card, no cash used at tables. They can track your action better also.

It'll be used by employees, not customers. i'm not saying there wont be crazy restrictions in crazy states, of course there will be. But that wont be the norm, as soon as you have indian casino's and others operating with little restrictions without bad outcomes, the rest will come around.

They were terrified at the thought of opening a beach, now there are restaurants, bars, salons, gyms open in many areas, when nothing happens the rest will follow.

The Indian joints will have crazy restrictions also. They have to build public trust. You’ll gamble no matter what, they need the players who have doubt about how safe they are.

Public sentiment is a huge factor, the largest factor, in our economic recovery.

That video i saw last week from herbie in Ok showed very little restrictions, a little screening when you enter but the people inside were walking around and playing like normal - most with no masks. Actually i didn't see any masks.

The media was terrified about the beaches. Most people weren't.

Don't look for state run casinos to follow Indian casinos lead in anything. I won't say every Indian casino is a cheat but there's plenty that are. A player won't get a fair shot if going up against an Indian casino.

saw an article this morning...internal polling from both democrats and republicans strategists showed people are more concerned about health now and going forward than the economy

A barber in NY defied the stay at home order, he decided to open up his barber shop, he just contracted the virus as well as a dozen of his customers, but hey who needs masks and social distancing, I'm sure it was just an isolated incident, this won't be happening to anyone else, let's open up baby, this thing is over!

Wow, what's the background story on the other 25 million + that have likely had it?

A buddy of mine just got a bootleg haircut today, he said it's exciting when you're dealing with the haircut cartel.

Now if roughly 1 out of 12 americans have had it, that would mean 1 out of 12 barbers should too...right?

Help me out Kane, lets work the math on this.
