Has anyone else gotten this book written by Chris Andrews?

A ton of great, classic Vegas stories.

Some of the old stories about stardust and characters are amazing...

Definitely worth a read.

Deal.

Thanks, Bob.

Chris always displayed great respect for the everyday bettor.

My favorite Chris Andrews trait: His ability to talk with a smile and laugh freely.

I loved his book!! A lot of good stories and inside info and I didn't know he was from Pgh and talked about towns I hung out at. I wanted to thank him for for the good read but he wont be back till the end of October!! Those 2 guys from texas who kept doubling up on their bet had me laughing my ass off and then they didn't show up when their team won!!

Did you Vegas guys remember “crying Kenny”?? The story where he shoots the TV after losing the under in the 3OT finals game between suns and Celtics in the 70s is such a classic Vegas story. Love the crazy people you see only in the casinos.

I'm going to pick it up at SP gift shop next time I'm there. I wonder if the stories about ticket writers at Barbary
Coast changing their hand written losers into winners made the book?

when I heard him tell the story sounded like the Bush brothers
i thought the same thing but he said on twitter that was meant to be a joke. it wasn't them
I’m guessing it was Lamar Hunt Jr. born in ‘56 and one of his 2 brothers.
Hunt’s father and 2 uncles, including NB Hunt, attempted to corner the silver market in the ‘70’s and In the last nine months of 1979, the brothers profited by an estimated $2 billion to $4 billion.
The Hunt family have a long history with sports at many levels and the family’s liquidity must have been insane back in the seventies.
