I have not watched much at all of the trial, just a few highlights, the local media here is hopelessly corrupt - they say the prosecution has been masterful the defense horrible - so take that for what it's worth.

The defense has not even begun their defense, i would think the trial would last a couple more weeks. The jury is pretty liberal but there are a couple exceptions, at best I would expect a hung jury, perhaps guilty on the lesser charge. I have zero faith in the legal system, I wouldn't get your hopes up.
